## Digital Visual Mixer v1.1.0 - macOS
Digital Visual Mixer v1.1.0 — now on macOS
This release adds macOS builds next to the Windows one. The app works the same on both systems. You don't need to install anything: everything the app needs is included.
Download
| System | File |
|---|---|
| Windows 10/11 (64-bit) | DigitalVisualMixer.exe |
| macOS 11+ — Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4…) | DigitalVisualMixer-macos-arm64.zip |
| macOS 11+ — Intel | DigitalVisualMixer-macos-x64.zip |
Not sure which Mac you have? Open menu → About This Mac. If it says Chip: Apple…, take arm64. If it says Processor: Intel…, take x64.
First run on macOS
- Unzip the file and double-click
DigitalVisualMixer. - macOS blocks it the first time, because the app is not signed with an Apple developer certificate. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. You only need to do this once.
- A Terminal window opens with the URLs, and the mixer opens in Chrome if it is installed. Use Chrome for MIDI controllers, because Safari does not support MIDI.
- To use the live window from another PC, allow incoming connections when macOS asks.
Your channels, mappings and presets are saved in ~/Library/Application Support/DigitalVisualMixer.
First run on Windows
Unchanged from v1.0.0: on the SmartScreen warning click More info → Run anyway, and allow the app on private networks in the firewall prompt. Your data stays in the data\ folder next to the exe.
Moving your work
Use Export DB on the old setup and Import DB on the new one. This also works between Windows and macOS.
Also in this release
