v1.7.1
Full Changelog: v1.7.0...v1.7.1
v1.7.1
New
- Delete sessions — Each entry in the sessions picker now has a trash icon. Deleting wipes the session profile, cached header/icon/tags, downloaded mod versions and unpublished drafts for that AppId. The confirmation
modal lists exactly what will be removed and how much disk space will be freed; type-to-confirm DELETE is required, matching the per-mod delete flow. - Sessionless shell — Deleting your last session is allowed. The shell stays open with an empty home and an "Add session" button replacing the session pill, so you can re-enter the wizard without restarting the app.
- Copy mod ID — The editor sidebar now shows the published file ID with a one-click copy button.
Improvements
- Telemetry is opt-in by default — The consent screen and first-run wizard now start with the toggle disabled. No data is sent until you explicitly check the box.
- Latest mods capped to 8 — The home dashboard shows the eight most recently updated mods instead of the full list. "See all" still routes to the complete picker.
- Cleaner sessions dropdown — Removed the duplicate background layer behind the sessions list.
Internal
- Debug builds no longer touch the shared telemetry queue file, so events from a Rider/IDE run cannot leak into the next Release launch.
- Every on-disk path now goes through a single
AppPathshelper, making a future data-folder rename a one-line change. - The
DELETEconfirmation passphrase is now defined once inDangerousActionsand reused across all destructive flows. - Removed the explicit
Tmds.DBus.Protocolpackage reference; Avalonia.Desktop pulls it in transitively now.
