New Features

Database Backup Check: New diagnostics powered by a custom sp_BlitzBackups variant. Checks backup history, RPO/RTO estimates, and flags issues like recovery model switches or NUL device backups. - #256

Instance Security Check: Beta-stage security audit identifying weak passwords (common/blanks/login-match), attack surface expansions, privilege escalation risks, linked server flaws, and excessive privileges.

ImportExcel Support: Officially supports the ImportExcel module for faster, license-free Excel report generation.
Output format priority logic: ImportExcel > Excel App > HTML.
New Switch: -ForceExcelApp to override logic and force Excel COM usage.

• Excel COM Performance: up to 70% faster write times for Excel reports generated via the Excel app, especially on large datasets like Index Usage. - #444
• Transient Error Handling: Added automatic retry logic (3 attempts, 5s interval) for network/Azure instability. - #445
• Timeout Handling: New -RetryOnTimeout switch to include query timeouts in the retry logic. #445

Bug Fixes

• Fixed CSS errors in HTML reports.
• Cleaned up Excel report templates.
• Corrected README.md parameter table formatting.
