Dungeons LAB Hub 1.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@Vladimir-inc Vladimir-inc released this 13 Aug 13:06

Second release of the Hub. Search across the whole world from one field, one settings screen for
every Dungeons Lab module, and a few small things the hotbar was asking for.

Install

Paste this manifest URL into Foundry, under Add-on Modules, Install Module:

https://github.com/Vladimir-inc/dungeons-lab-hub/releases/latest/download/module.json

If you already run 1.1.0, update it from the module list in Foundry. Nothing to redo by hand.

What is new

Spotlight Search. Press Ctrl + Shift + Space and search the whole world from one field: scenes,
actors, items, journals, macros, roll tables, playlists, cards, compendia and settings. Typos are
forgiven, so "gobln" still finds the goblin. Rules compendia are searched page by page, results come
grouped by category with the strongest hits on top, Enter opens the hit and you can drag a result
straight onto the hotbar. The palette is GM only, and you choose in its settings which journal packs
get full-text search.

One settings screen. Every Hub option now lives in one place with a search field of its own,
sorted into groups, marked as world or client, and flagged when a change needs a reload. Other
Dungeons Lab modules can put their settings on the same screen instead of opening a window of their
own, and Spotlight finds those settings too: type the name of an option and Enter takes you straight
to its row.

The hotbar button can be turned off. If you would rather keep the bar clean, switch it off in
Settings and use the new Open Dungeons LAB Hub macro, which sits pinned at the top of the macro
library.

Colours per group in the sidebar. The Actors and Items grouping now lets you pick the colour of
each type group yourself instead of living with the defaults.

Catalogue. New cards for StoryFlow and for Pure Evil, our GM only dice control module, both with
galleries and links.

Requirements

Foundry VTT v13 or newer, verified on v14. The scene migration tool needs v14, because that is where
native Scene Levels live.

Dungeons LAB Hub 1.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@Vladimir-inc Vladimir-inc released this 27 Jul 21:45

First public release of the Hub.

Install

Paste this manifest URL into Foundry, under Add-on Modules, Install Module:

https://github.com/Vladimir-inc/dungeons-lab-hub/releases/latest/download/module.json

What is in it

Macros. Around forty ready-made macros sorted into Weather, Time, Items, Combat, Tokens and
Rolls. Switch the weather, flip day to night, start combat, apply damage, toggle a torch, roll a
group skill check, show the party HP, lock every door. Pick the ones you want and they land on
your hotbar.

Maps Migration to V14. Converts scenes built on the old Levels and Wall Height modules to
native v14 Scene Levels. It creates the Level documents, assigns placeables and tokens to the
right floor, turns stair drawings into changeLevel regions and collision tiles into defineSurface
regions, and keeps your floor tiles where they are with all their triggers, tags and flags
intact. Migrate everything at once or tick just the scenes you want. Backups are made by default
and can later be collected into a folder or deleted from the same screen.

Quality of life. Four small fixes, each with its own switch: group and colour actors by type,
group and colour items by type, auto-scroll a sidebar list while dragging near its edge, and a
right-click option that moves an actor or an item straight into any folder.

Catalogue. The Dungeons Lab modules and map packs, with galleries and install links. Packs
you already have are marked.

Compatibility fix for Monk's Active Tiles. MATT only blocks cross-floor triggers while the old
Levels module is running, which does not exist on v14, so a ground floor trigger would fire when a
token walked the same spot in the basement. The Hub restores that check using each tile's own
floor.

Requirements

Foundry VTT v12 or newer, verified on v14. The scene migration tool needs v14, because that is
where native Scene Levels live.
