v0.5.7 - Convert to WebP
Right-click any image (or a whole selection) and pick "Convert to WebP". The .webp copies appear right next to the originals, and the originals stay untouched.
- Works with png, jpg, jpeg, bmp and avif files
- Converts a whole multi-selection in one go, with a progress counter; one broken file never stops the rest
- Smart naming: if Hero.webp is already taken, the new file becomes Hero (2).webp
- New "WebP quality" setting (0.5 to 1.0, default 0.9)
- svg, gif and tiff are skipped on purpose: vector art should stay vector, animated gifs would lose their frames, and browsers cannot decode tiff
Nothing else to do after updating, just reload Foundry.
