TL;DR — A terminal run can now tell your phone right away, or after 15 s, 30 s, 1 or 5 min (Telegram run notices after, in /settings). 1 minute stays the default.

Added

  • A choice of how long a run must take before it tells your phone.
/settings has a new row, Telegram run notices after: Right away, 15
seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute or 5 minutes. A run started at the terminal
sends its "Codeep finished" notice to Telegram once it has taken that long.
Runs of about half a minute used to send nothing, for everyone, and this is
the way to have them send.
    • 1 minute is still the default. Nothing changes until you pick another;
a phone is not buzzed about work you watched finish unless you ask for it.
    • A run started from the phone is unaffected. It is always answered,
      whatever the row says.
    • It governs the notice itself (what ran, how long, tokens and cost).
Whether the notice also carries the agent's answer is still Send
      terminal answers to Telegram
      , as before.
    • /telegram shows the choice in its status line (Notice after:).
    • A value in the config file that is not one of the five (a hand edit)
is read as 1 minute, and the row shows it as 1 minute.
    • The Mac app gets the same choice, as Send answers after, in its
      next release after 3.9.0.
