Voiden v2.3.1
Security Updates & Editor Keyboard Fixes
Patch release with dependency security updates, more reliable MCP tool chaining, and keyboard fixes for the slash menu and suggestion popups.
Improved
- Improved update checks for better insights into app usage and successful updates.
- Updated dependencies to resolve Dependabot security alerts, including Electron 39.8.10 and the Tiptap 3 editor engine.
- Chained /mcp operations reuse the server's session, so a value captured by one tool reaches the next.
- voiden-runner and voiden-mcp keep runtime variables per client session over --http.
- MCP Authorize for /mcp blocks now ships with the voiden-mcp-client plugin, so its fixes arrive as plugin updates.
Fixed
- Blocks saved with an older compatible plugin version run again without re-saving the file.
- ArrowUp in the slash menu moves through the menu instead of jumping the cursor to the previous line.
- Arrow keys and Enter in table cell suggestions pick a suggestion instead of moving between cells.
- Variable and file-link suggestion popups keep the cursor in place while navigating with the arrow keys.
- WebSocket and gRPC blocks show their method label once (voiden-sockets-grpcs 1.1.8).
