VonCMS v1.26.7 - After Hours

VonCMS v1.26.7 focuses on lighter administration, safer authentication recovery, stronger editor workflows, and more reliable public theme behavior.

Highlights

  • Added a public-safe Categories sidebar widget for Default, Digest, and TechPress.
  • Improved category navigation with reliable scroll reset and subfolder-safe links.
  • Reduced unnecessary admin API loading through route-aware post and page requests.
  • Improved PHP session concurrency for dashboard, analytics, comments, storage, and security monitoring.
  • Added a timezone-aware 24-hour dashboard clock.
  • Improved TechPress search contrast using the configured theme color.
  • Preserved saved TechPress and Digest colors during public settings fallback.
  • Added clearer table, image, video, link, preview, and media-library controls to the editor.
  • Preserved author-selected text colors while continuing to sanitize pasted external content.
  • Improved editor autosave, content recovery, Undo stability, and stale-request handling.
  • Added a dedicated registration-success state that clears submitted credentials.
  • Strengthened password recovery routes, rate limits, honeypot handling, and root/subfolder reset links.
  • Made profile password updates, remember-token revocation, and profile changes transactional.
  • Strengthened .htaccess integrity checks and Source/Deploy layout detection.
  • Prevented live von_config.php credentials and private workspace files from entering release packages.
  • Updated OpenRouter SDK and the aligned TipTap dependency family.
  • No database migration is required.

Upgrade Notes

  1. Back up the database and current installation.
  2. Upload and extract VonCMS_v1.26.7_Deploy.zip.
  3. Preserve the existing von_config.php, uploads, data, backups, and live .htaccess files.
  4. Verify the homepage, one article, category navigation, login, editor, and admin dashboard.
  5. Clear the browser cache if an older fingerprinted asset is still displayed.
