KinKudos 26.8.3
[26.8.3] - 2026-08-21
Changed
- Parent task and reward approvals are now quiet operational actions; celebration
effects and sounds remain limited to the child area.
Fixed
- Centered the approval spinner over the existing action icon while a parent
approval is processing.
KinKudos 26.8.2
[26.8.2] - 2026-08-19
Changed
- Parent task and reward approvals now update the pending list and child
balance in place on mobile, with immediate busy feedback that prevents
duplicate taps.
Fixed
- Removed duplicated mobile footer spacing in Parent Home, reducing unnecessary
empty space above the bottom navigation.
Security
- Updated
sqlparseto 0.6.0 to address four known vulnerabilities reported by
pip-audit.
KinKudos 26.8.1
[26.8.1] - 2026-08-16
Fixed
- Required field labels in stack forms no longer show a second colon after the
required marker.
KinKudos 26.8.0
[26.8.0] - 2026-08-16
Added
- Parents can share time-limited caregiver access with a private invite/login
link and a caregiver PIN, with access limited to selected children. - Child Settings now provide an accordion layout, an eight-theme grid, daily
randomized theme support, sound controls, and a full-width PIN pad. - Caregiver invites and child-device pairing links have clearer Share and Copy
dialogs.
Changed
- Caregivers can use the intended family actions for their assigned children,
including task, reward, penalty, award, and unlock actions; the official
documentation now describes this broader Home scope. - Unused paired child devices stay listed until a parent revokes them, so a
token that still grants access can still be reviewed. - Mobile controls, share dialogs, date fields, and feedback/settings callouts
were tightened for small screens.
Fixed
- Settings and popup actions now respond on the first tap in mobile Safari,
including when Safari swallows the initial pointer event. - Child theme controls and Settings sections remain stable and usable across
mobile layouts.
Security
- Expired or revoked caregiver access no longer falls through to parent
privileges, and caregiver actions remain scoped to assigned children. - Child avatars, task evidence, and feedback screenshots enforce the same
child scope, while management endpoints require a parent account. - Caregiver invite flows and their Lithuanian translations cover the complete
guest journey.
KinKudos 26.8.0 release candidate
This is a pre-release KinKudos 26.8.0 candidate for VPS deployment acceptance testing.

KinKudos 26.7.3
[26.7.3] - 2026-08-14
Fixed
- Assigned-task titles on the child dashboard wrap between words on a phone,
instead of being squeezed beside the points.
KinKudos 26.7.2
[26.7.2] - 2026-08-13
Changed
- Child dashboard task and reward points stay on the same row as the title.
Assigned-task parent notes remain underneath.
Fixed
- The child dashboard section menu sticks near the top of the screen after
the greeting scrolls away, instead of hovering over the content below.
KinKudos 26.7.1
[26.7.1] - 2026-08-13
Added
- Children can add an optional short note (What I did, up to 200 characters)
when submitting or resubmitting a catalogue task. Parents open it from a
comment icon in Pending and History. The note is independent of the photo,
does not grant a photo bonus, and is not used when completing an assigned
task.
Changed
- The scheduled reminder command now runs existing reminders, assigned-task
nudges, and due assignment presets as isolated steps, so one failure does
not prevent the other scheduled work from running. - Guided setup and release upgrades now detect the trusted proxy CIDR from the
selected proxy mode and preserve the existing proxy mode, network, and
explicit trusted-proxy value when setup is run again. - Re-running the guided bootstrap after an upgrade can recover deployment
helpers introduced by the current release from the validated release copy. - Buttons and compact icon controls share one hover and focus lift. The Home
pending-count badge stays compact on the desktop navigation icon instead of
stretching the Home row. - Parent Home pending rows keep the child name and request type on one line,
place the comment icon beside the photo, and keep today's assigned-task
cancel actions in a dedicated column. Manage → Goals shows the info control
beside the goal title. - Lithuanian saved-point labels on child cards and goals now use Sukaupta /
sukaupta instead of Išsaugota / išsaugota.
Fixed
- Parents now receive a Web Push notification when a child completes an
assigned task. - Existing installations no longer risk switching from a Traefik or container
proxy overlay to the host-proxy overlay during a repeated bootstrap. - Approving the same catalogue task more than once in one day no longer fails
with an HTTP 500. Each approved claim still posts its own credit. Assign and
parent Award still treat that catalogue task as used for the rest of the
local day.
Security
- Reverse-proxy forwarded headers are trusted only from the detected loopback
or Docker proxy network CIDR during guided installation and upgrades.
