• Sing Along is coming soon. Its preview explains the planned vocal controls without starting a download or interrupting your music. Normal synced lyrics and lyric seeking remain available.
• CarPlay browsing: your queue, downloads, favorites and recent tracks, with Apple's Now Playing controls.
• Phone-first playback: CarPlay listeners and refresh timers stay inactive until a car connects. Stale selections and late connection events are handled safely.
• Refreshed player-menu wording, privacy information and feature previews.

CarPlay requires an approved audio entitlement in your signing profile. Musyn is an unsigned IPA for iOS 15+; sign it with a compatible installer. YouTube works without API keys, and JioSaavn remains optional with your own authorized key.

Musyn 0.3.6 — predictable track switching

• Without a configured/enabled JioSaavn key, go directly to YouTube. Stale default, resolved and forced JioSaavn choices no longer reject valid prepared YouTube URLs.
• Pause previous audio before publishing the new selection. Native events from the old item cannot make the new selection appear ready.
• Failed selections remain selected with a retryable error; Play retries that entry rather than resuming the old item or advancing to a different song. Pause/Play during a pending load preserve intent.
• Respect YouTube throttling: stop immediately on HTTP 429, pause new manifest/preload requests for 30 seconds and keep usable prepared URLs available. Bound manifest resolution to 12 seconds overall, six per client, and close owned transports after completion/timeout.
• Avoid artwork Hero-flight crashes during player-sheet gestures, quick changes and rotation; the sheet retains its own transition.

274 Flutter tests passed, including the reported selection/pause/play sequence, repeated failures, stale results, no-key routing, real resolver HTTP 429 behavior and owned-client closure. iPhone network/background acceptance remains necessary; cold CDN loading and provider restrictions cannot be made instant.

• Sing along now prepares separated backing/vocal audio locally on iOS 18+, then exposes an actual vocal-volume slider. Original audio continues while preparing. One-time 31 MB public MIT model download; no audio upload. Preparation takes time and results vary by track.
• Lock-screen lyrics independently replace the artist line, artwork, or both. iOS 26 artwork can expand through the system player; centered pink current line and next-line preview use real lyric timestamps.
• Guarded cancellation and source changes prevent late results affecting another track. Stem installation preserves queue identity, position and playback intent without double-counting history.
• Audit fixes: prevent ready-track watchdog skips after callback gaps, retain automatic artwork across launches, queue cold-start playlist imports, reset Sing along on selection changes, clear square artwork caches, coalesce bounded cover work, avoid downloading stream-probe bodies and isolate cached values. Verification.
• Website download counters removed. GitHub README download badge retained.

iOS 15+ app; vocal reduction requires iOS 18 and lyric artwork requires iOS 26. Native presentation, processing speed and background behavior still need physical-iPhone acceptance. No bundled JioSaavn key. Unsigned IPA: com.vorynlabs.musyn, build 17.

• Lock-screen timing: handle decimal JioSaavn durations, preserve known duration through metadata refreshes, separate default/effective playback rates, and keep artwork and lyric updates on the canonical playback clock.
• Animated artwork: adapt actual clips to the aspect ratio supported by the device, retry when system artwork capabilities become available, and log lookup/publication status for diagnosis. Real clips only; unavailable matches retain still covers.
• Optional lock-screen lyrics: show the current timed line in place of the artist. Enable in the player’s More menu or Settings → Appearance. Disable to restore the artist; songs without timed lyrics keep it.
• Sing-along: focused, centered line-synced lyrics, current/next line and working playback controls. Original vocals remain; no vocal separation or invented word timings.
• Native anchored iOS player menu, balanced landscape layout, large-text fixes and shared lyric requests that cannot attach a skipped song’s lines.

Automatic artwork requires iOS 26 and remains subject to system settings. Physical-device acceptance is still required for the reported missing JioSaavn timeline and native animation. No bundled JioSaavn key. iOS 15+, unsigned IPA, com.vorynlabs.musyn.

Musyn 0.3.3 — Voryn Labs

• Animated album covers are now found automatically on iOS 26. No manual import, Apple/Spotify account or extra key is required. Match the selected track through Apple’s public catalog and album page; cache an available real clip for the player and supported lock screen.
• Conservative title/artist/duration matching, stale-request cancellation, native file validation and still-cover fallback. Audio does not wait for artwork.
• Bounded artwork cache (80 MB / 20 clips), rate/backoff handling, Offline/Reduce Motion/Low Power checks and a Clear Artwork Cache action.
• Automatic artwork defaults on for supported systems with no saved preference; existing explicit opt-outs remain off. Appearance and Privacy explain provider requests and the switch. Manual import actions are removed.

Not every album has motion artwork. Spotify Canvas lookup is not included. YouTube remains keyless; optional JioSaavn still uses the user’s Keychain entry with no bundled key. iOS 15+, unsigned Musyn.ipa, bundle com.vorynlabs.musyn.

• Fix the oversized pale glass footer: material now stays in the compact navigation strip, outside the home-indicator inset. Use clear native glass over an appearance-matched legibility layer and honor Reduce Transparency. Recreate native material when the app theme changes.
• Remove the boxed glass transport deck and sheet backgrounds. Keep the mini player on the shared app canvas.
• Add animated tab selection, interrupted-selection handling, play/pause feedback, cover-size changes on pause/resume and cover fades on track changes. Honor Reduce Motion.
• Rename Appearance options to Glass navigation and Video artwork. Video playback requires an attached clip; it does not automatically discover animated covers. Still images remain still between state changes.

YouTube remains keyless. Optional JioSaavn uses a user-supplied key in Keychain; no key is bundled. iOS 15+, unsigned Musyn.ipa, bundle com.vorynlabs.musyn. Native glass and video artwork require iOS 26+.

Native build and headless regression checks do not establish physical-device rendering or frame pacing. Fix scope and verification.

• Refined download/source sheets, queue accents and mini-player rendering. Same-track artwork refreshes remain visible while position-only updates avoid unnecessary redraws.
• Redacted diagnostic previews with explicit dpaste upload and a GitHub issue draft. No automatic log uploads.
• Opt-in native iOS 26 glass and real video artwork. Attach a silent square or portrait clip from a song's menu. Tracks without one keep still covers; iOS controls lock-screen presentation. No automatic Spotify/Apple artwork lookup is included.

Install: iOS 15+, unsigned Musyn.ipa; com.vorynlabs.musyn, 0.3.1 (13). Sign with your own identity or use a compatible LiveContainer host. Native glass/animated Now Playing require iOS 26.

Provider terms, permissions and content rights apply. Bringing a key does not grant service access rights. Earlier releases and CI build artifacts have been withdrawn, and published Git history has been sanitized. Existing copies and cached objects cannot be recalled.
