• Sign in directly with a Google account to share the existing Hoshi Reader library without entering a client ID. Reconnect Google after updating; the former Niratan cloud folder is retained.

• Reading sessions, highlight furigana and audiobook positions use Hoshi's sync records. Older statistics migrate without duplicate totals, and archived history is retained.
• Fix cross-device EPUB progress differences from character entities, quotes and Korean text, including bookmark restoration and highlight navigation in Korean-only chapters.

• 漫画 OCR 新增本地识别：可下载 Fushi 的漫画 CTC 模型或 manga-ocr 模型，也可直接使用经过优化的 Apple Vision，页面不会上传。打开漫画时可自动识别；Google Lens 仍需手动选择并确认上传说明。新增悬停查词（或按住 Shift 悬停）和显示文字区域。
• 阅读统计改为按阅读会话记录：每次阅读单独保存，今日、全部和统计面板的按日数据都由会话汇总，书籍统计详情可以逐条编辑或删除会话。旧的按日统计会自动转换，TTU 同步和备份仍使用原有格式。
• 阅读进度显示新增“显示章节进度”，并可选择按字数、页数或不显示计数；页数按当前排版和窗口大小测量，连续滚动模式下不可用。
• 视频播放器检查器完全重做：顶部显示正在播放的视频和集数位置，标签栏改为图标加文字并带滑动指示；内容改为分组列表，选项用右侧对勾表示当前选择；选集带序号并标出正在播放的一集；画面比例和旋转合并为“画面”分组，循环分组新增 AB 循环区间显示，亮度等画面调节可一键重置，音频和字幕调轴改为居中大数值加步进按钮。检查器不再遮挡控制栏右侧的按钮。
• 视频库改用与书架、漫画一致的两栏样式：左侧分类显示数量，“缺失”只在有缺失视频时出现；海报改为无边框的 16:9 缩略图，进度、剩余时间、已看完和收藏直接显示在画面上，海报大小可调；系列、文件夹和合集默认展开；详情面板顶部新增预览图和播放按钮；搜索改用工具栏原生搜索框。视图方式和海报大小会被记住。
• 视频播放控制栏重新设计：悬浮样式改为进度条在上、音量／播放／工具三组按钮在下的玻璃面板；贴底样式加深底部渐变，白色按钮在亮色画面上也清晰可见。进度条和音量条改为细轨道，悬停或拖动时加粗并显示滑块，拖动时松手才跳转；倍速改为直接显示当前倍率的胶囊按钮；挖卡历史、检查器和字幕间隙快进打开时按钮会高亮。贴底样式下检查器不再遮住控制栏右侧的按钮。
• 有声书歌词模式重新设计：保留 Apple Music 风格的封面与播放面板，字幕改为整本全量列表，可自由滚动浏览（竖排时左右滚动）。手动滚动会暂停跟随并显示“回到当前字幕”，播放中停止滚动约 4 秒后自动回到当前句；点击任意一句即可从该句播放，新增可拖动的进度条并显示已播放和剩余时间，列表边缘渐隐，暂停时当前句保持完整高亮。统计方式不变：只有自然播放推进的句子计入阅读字数，覆盖层下方的小说位置继续跟随当前句。
• 振假名新增与上游一致的四种模式：显示、变淡、点按显示（点击揭开当前及相邻注音，不会重排页面）和隐藏；按 Profile 保存，并兼容原有的“隐藏振假名”设置。
• 新增 Google Drive 整库同步方式：在多台 Niratan 之间同步书籍、封面、阅读位置、统计、高亮、书架和 Sasayaki 数据。只在云端的书会带云朵标记显示在书架上，打开时下载；删除时可选择只删本地副本或在所有设备上删除（阅读统计会保留）。原有的 ッツ/yatsu 按书同步保留为另一种同步方式。
• 词典设置新增频率排序（自动／按所选频率词典升序或降序）、搜索文本字号，以及词典分类（单语／双语／排除），并可在 Anki 中使用 {monolingual-definition}、{bilingual-definition} 等字段。右键弹窗中的发音按钮可选择具体音频来源。词典导入失败时会显示原因，自定义样式不再影响其他词典。
• 补齐了设置、制卡提示、手柄按键、Aidoku、视频和同步等处遗漏的中文翻译。
• 新增 Fushi 互联：在“设置 > 同步”中与局域网内的 Fushi 设备配对（支持自动发现、PIN 与 TLS 证书确认），即可同步同名小说的阅读位置。只有一端改动时自动同步；两端都改动时会询问保留哪一边，不会直接覆盖。打开书时在阅读器内询问，阅读中不打扰，关闭书籍或启动时在主窗口提醒，也可以选择稍后决定。书架菜单和设置页可以手动同步。
• 视频库支持 Jellyfin、Emby 和 Plex 媒体服务器：在视频库侧栏或“设置 › 视频 › 媒体服务器”中登录（账号密码、访问令牌或 Plex 浏览器登录），即可浏览继续观看、各媒体库最近添加、库内容（支持排序和分页）、剧集季和集，并搜索整台服务器。播放时直接串流原片，服务器支持转码时可在检查器中切换较低画质；服务器提供的文本字幕会作为可查词的字幕加载，否则使用片内字幕轨。播放进度、暂停和停止会同步回服务器，打开时以服务器和本机中较新的进度续播。令牌只保存在 macOS 钥匙串中。
• 书架和漫画库改为两栏布局：左栏列出全部、正在阅读、未归入书架和自建书架（带数量），可直接新建、双击或右键改名、拖动排序和删除书架，原有书架和其中的书都会保留。工具栏按钮统一放在右上角，新增书名搜索和封面大小滑块；排序菜单不再嵌套。检查更新移到“设置 > 关于 > 软件更新”，默认每天自动检查一次 GitHub 上的新版本。

• The manga reader now follows Fushi: vertical-paged and long-strip modes (with automatic long-strip detection), automatic single/double pages, a lone cover and lone wide pages, page-scaling modes, click zones, wheel panning before page turns, double-click zoom, page transitions and flash, brightness/contrast/saturation/invert/grayscale and custom color filters, E-ink mode, rotating wide pages, background colors including a page-matched one, a hideable interface with a bottom page slider, automatic chapter advance, auto-scroll, keeping the display awake, panel-by-panel reading and rebindable manga shortcuts. Every option is in the reader settings inspector and can apply to the current manga only.
• Manga OCR can now run on this Mac: download Fushi's manga CTC model or manga-ocr, or use the tuned Apple Vision engine, without uploading pages. Recognition can start when a manga opens; Google Lens still has to be chosen and its upload disclosure accepted. Hover lookup (or Shift-hover) and recognized text regions are new.
• The video player inspector is rebuilt. Its header shows the playing video and episode position, the tabs use icons with titles and a sliding indicator, and content is grouped lists with a trailing checkmark for the current choice. Episodes are numbered with the playing one marked; aspect ratio and rotation share a Picture group, the Loop group shows the A-B range, picture adjustments can be reset at once, and audio and subtitle timing use a large centered value with step buttons. The inspector no longer covers the trailing playback controls.
• Reading statistics are now recorded per reading session. Today, all-time and the dashboard's daily totals are derived from sessions, and a book's statistics detail can edit or delete individual sessions. Existing daily statistics are converted automatically, and TTU sync and backups keep their existing format.
• Reader progress can now show chapter progress, with a count in characters, pages or none. Pages are measured for the current layout and window size and are unavailable in continuous mode.
• The video library now uses the same two-pane layout as the Bookshelf and Manga library. Categories show counts and Missing only appears when videos are missing; posters are borderless 16:9 thumbnails with progress, time left, watched and favorite shown on the artwork, and their size is adjustable; Series, Folders and Collections open expanded; the details panel starts with a preview and play buttons; search uses the native toolbar field. The chosen view and poster size are remembered.
• The video playback controls are redesigned. The floating style is a glass panel with the timeline on top and volume, transport and tool clusters below; the bottom style uses a deeper scrim so white controls stay legible over bright frames. The timeline and volume are slim tracks that thicken and show a knob on hover or drag, and seeking happens on release. Playback speed is a pill showing the current rate, and the mining history, inspector and subtitle-gap fast-forward buttons highlight while on. With the bottom style, the inspector no longer covers the trailing controls.
• Audiobook Lyrics Mode is redesigned. It keeps the Apple Music style artwork and player panel and now lists every subtitle of the book in one scrollable list (scrolling sideways in vertical writing). Scrolling by hand stops following playback and shows Back to Current Line; during playback the list returns to the current line about 4 seconds after scrolling stops. Clicking any line plays from it, a draggable timeline shows elapsed and remaining time, the list fades at its edges, and the current line stays fully lit while paused. Statistics work as before: only lines reached by natural playback count as read, and the novel under the overlay keeps following the current line.
• Furigana now offers upstream's four modes: Show, Dimmed, Tap to Reveal (reveals the clicked and adjacent readings without reflowing the page) and Hidden. The mode is saved per Profile and migrates the previous Hide Furigana setting.
• New Google Drive library sync between Niratan devices: books, covers, reading positions, statistics, highlights, shelves and Sasayaki data. Books stored only on Drive appear with a cloud badge and download when opened; deleting offers removing the local copy or deleting everywhere (statistics are kept). The per-book ッツ/yatsu sync remains available as the other provider.
• Dictionary settings add frequency sorting (automatic, or ascending/descending by a chosen frequency dictionary), a search text size, and dictionary categories (monolingual, bilingual, exclude) with matching Anki fields such as {monolingual-definition} and {bilingual-definition}. Right-click the popup's audio button to choose an audio source. Dictionary import failures show their reason, and custom dictionary styles no longer leak into other dictionaries.
• Filled in missing Chinese translations across settings, mining messages, controller buttons, Aidoku, video and sync.
• Added Fushi Interconnect: pair with a Fushi device on your network in Settings > Syncing (with discovery, PIN and TLS certificate confirmation) to sync reading positions of novels with the same title. One-sided changes sync automatically; when both devices moved, Niratan asks which position to keep instead of overwriting either. It asks inside the Reader when a book opens, never while reading, and on the main window after a book closes or at launch, with an option to decide later. Books can also be synced manually from the bookshelf menu and Settings.
• The video library can browse and play Jellyfin, Emby and Plex media servers. Sign in from the library sidebar or Settings › Video › Media Servers (password, access token, or Plex browser sign-in) to see Continue Watching, recently added items per library, sortable paged libraries, seasons and episodes, and server-wide search. Playback streams the original file, with lower qualities in the inspector when the server can transcode; server text subtitles load as interactive subtitles, otherwise the embedded tracks are used. Progress, pause and stop are reported back to the server, and playback resumes from whichever of the server and this Mac saved last. Tokens are kept in macOS Keychain only.
• The Bookshelf and Manga library use a two-pane layout. The shelf column lists All, Currently Reading, Unshelved and your shelves with counts; create, rename (double-click or right-click), reorder and delete shelves right there, and existing shelves keep their books. Toolbar actions now all sit on the top right, with book search and a cover size slider, and the sort menu is no longer nested. Update checks moved to Settings > About > Software Update and run automatically once a day against GitHub releases.
