ProxSyncBox v1.0.0 - Initial Release! 馃帀
Welcome to the first official release of ProxSyncBox!
ProxSyncBox is a desktop GUI application designed to help you keep your NetBox inventory synchronized with your Proxmox VE environments. This initial release provides a solid foundation for managing and syncing your virtual machines, LXC containers, and Proxmox nodes.
Core Features:
- User-friendly GUI built with PyQt6.
- Configuration for multiple Proxmox nodes.
- VM/LXC Synchronization:
- Syncs status, vCPUs, memory, primary disk, network interfaces (MAC, IP, VLAN), Proxmox tags, and OS information.
- Detailed virtual disk synchronization.
- Populates various Proxmox-specific details into NetBox custom fields (see README for setup).
- Proxmox Node to NetBox Device Synchronization:
- Syncs the Proxmox node as a NetBox Device, including hardware details and network interfaces.
- Configurable mapping to NetBox Site, Device Role, Manufacturer, etc.
- Orphaned VM handling in NetBox.
- Settings management via GUI or
.envfile. - Real-time logging within the application.
Getting Started:
- Clone the repository.
- Install dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt - Configure your NetBox and Proxmox details via the File > Settings menu in the application, or by creating/editing the
.envfile.- For detailed instructions, please see the README.md.
- Important: Ensure you have created the necessary Custom Fields in NetBox for full data synchronization.
