CoH Analytics 0.1.4 Beta

This release is centered on historical combat analysis.

You can now finish a gameplay session, keep it as a historical segment, come back to it later, review its combat data, and compare it against another run.

What's New

  • Historical Analytics

    • Finished sessions now appear in Analytics → Overview.
    • Historical sessions can be reopened, reviewed, compared, or deleted.

  • Historical Combat Analysis

    • Analytics → Combat now supports completed sessions.
    • Review:
      • Offense
      • Incoming Damage
      • Healing
    • Historical combat reports can also be reviewed as HTML in a browser using the Report button.

  • Compare Two Runs

    • Analytics → Compare lets you place two finished sessions side by side.
    • Compare damage and other key combat metrics between runs.
    • XP / Hour and Influence / Hour are included, making it easier to compare farming runs, builds, or different play sessions over similar periods of time.

  • Finish Session

    • Live Session now includes a Finish Session option.
    • This closes the current session and saves it into historical Analytics without requiring you to close the game.

  • Automatic Session Finalization

    • When the Homecoming client associated with a session closes, CoH Analytics can finalize that session automatically.
    • Starting another session afterward continues to resolve the correct character instead of falling back to Unknown.

Improvements

  • Analytics pages now refresh automatically when a new historical session is created.
  • Combat parsing and session finalization have been hardened to reduce timing-related problems while logs are still being processed.
  • Improved proc attribution, frozen-build context, combat report wording, and chart presentation.
  • Improved handling of character/session transitions and first-use character detection.

Installer Changes

The Windows installer now handles reinstalling the same version more cleanly.

If CoH Analytics 0.1.4 Beta is already installed, the MSI will offer:

  • Reinstall — replace the installed application files with the current 0.1.4 Beta package
  • Cancel — leave the existing installation unchanged

Your CoH Analytics data under %LocalAppData%\CoH Analytics is preserved.

The framework-dependent version requires the .NET 10 Desktop Runtime.

Notes

CoH Analytics is still a Windows application.

Linux/Wine support remains experimental. The last full Wine validation was performed with 0.1.3 Beta using the self-contained Windows build. 0.1.4 Beta has not yet been revalidated under Wine.

Historical Combat and Compare report what was actually observed during a session. They are not intended to replace a full build planner or combat simulator.
