1.0.1.update.1 - 2025-10-15
Added
WSYS2
wsys2 upgrade all— interactive command to upgrade all installed packages (iterates installed packages and attempts online install for each).wsys2 upgrade <package>— interactive command to upgrade a specific installed package (checks if installed, then attempts online install).- Updated WSYS2 from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1.
Improved
- Hardened upgrade confirmation input parsing (skips whitespace and requires explicit
y/Yto continue). - Upgrade flow now attempts a best-effort
wsys2 removebefore installing the new package to mirror single-package behavior. - Minor robustness fixes: safe package-name handling, small delay between package installs to avoid repository hammering, and added required includes.
Fixed
- Resolved implicit-declaration warnings by adding missing prototypes and headers.
- Makefile adjustments to avoid stale object reuse that caused cross-architecture link failures in CI.
Notes
- This update improves UX and robustness but the upgrade flow is not yet atomic — a failed install after removal may leave a package uninstalled. Implementing atomic upgrade (download → verify → install-to-temp → atomic swap with backup + rollback) is recommended for the next patch.
