πŸ“‹ Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure your environment meets the following requirements:

  • Unlocked Bootloader (Mandatory)
  • At least 50% battery charge
  • Root Access (Magisk/KSU) installed (required for system switching)
  • A full backup of critical partitions (persist, modem, and efs) stored safely on outside of phone memory
  • A host machine (PC or secondary Android device with ADB/Fastboot binaries configured)
  • A reliable USB data cable

πŸ’» ADB & Fastboot Setup

If your host machine isn't configured yet, choose your platform below to set up your flashing environment:

πŸͺŸ Method A: Using a Windows PC
  1. Download the official Google Platform Tools for Windows.
  2. Extract the contents of the ZIP folder to an easy-to-reach location (e.g., C:\platform-tools).
  3. Open Windows Terminal or Command Prompt and navigate to your folder:
cd C:\platform-tools
  1. Driver Note: If your phone shows up with a yellow warning triangle in Device Manager while in Fastboot mode, download and install the official
    Google USB Drivers
πŸ“± Method B: Using Another Android Phone (OTG)

You can flash your device using a secondary Android phone via a USB-OTG adapter.

  1. Install: Bugjaeger Mobile ADB - USB OTG from the Google Play Store.
  2. Connect both phones using a USB cable and Plug the OTG adapter into the host phone
  3. Launch Bugjaeger - Accept the USB permission prompt
  4. Go to Fastboot section- Open the Commands tab (terminal icon) to run ADB/Fastboot commands

⚠️ Warning: The partitioning script will shrink your internal storage and all data will be wiped. Make sure you have already backed up your important data and critical partitions (modem, persist, and efs) outside of your phone's internal memory.

  1. Download Required Files:
  • On your host PC/device: Download the Modded-TWRP.zip
  • On your target device (lisa): Download the latest Magisk.apk - skip if already rooted
  1. Boot into Modded TWRP:
  • Power off your target device. Press and hold Power + Volume Down to enter Fastboot mode.
  • Connect the device to your host PC/Phone.
  • On host PC/Phone, execute the following command (if using Bugjaeger, use the app's native Fastboot flash interface):
fastboot boot modded-twrp.img
  1. Execute the Partitioning Script:
  • In TWRP, tap on Install - select Magisk and swipe to flash - Skip if already rooted
  • Navigate to Advanced βž” Terminal inside TWRP.
  • Start the partition script by typing:
partition
  • Follow the prompt instructions to allocate your desired storage size (in GB).
  1. Initialize Android:
  • Once the operation is complete, reboot into System to let Android re-map the adjusted storage spaces.
  • Download and install the magisk apk or your previously root apk.

πŸͺŸ 2. Windows Installation

Click to expand Windows installation steps
  1. Prepare Installation Packages:

    • Download the Windows-Image
    • Download the WinInstaller.zip
    • πŸ“‚ Both the files should be either in MicroSD Card or in the Internal storage of your Phone Memory .
  2. **Flash the Windows: **

    • Reboot your device back into the **modded TWRP **.
    • Go to Install, locate and select WinInstaller.zip, then swipe to flash.

  3. Complete Windows Setup:

    • The device will boot into the Windows (OOBE).
    • Skip to connect the Internet and choose I don't have internet
    • Complete the initial region, keyboard, and user setup wizard.
  4. Return to Android:

    • Once on the Windows desktop, double-click the Android shortcut icon to seamlessly boot back to your Android system.

3. Dual-Boot Setup

  1. Download and install Woahelper.apk while booted into Android.
  2. Launch the application and grant it Root (Magisk) privileges when prompted.
  3. Tap REBOOT TO WINDOWS whenever you want to switch to Windows.

πŸ› οΈ Troubleshooting & Tips

  • Stuck in a Bootloop? If your device fails to boot after partitioning, go back to TWRP and format the userdata partition (Wipe βž” Format Data βž” type yes).
  • Failed to boot into Windows? Reboot to Fastboot mode, connect your device to your host machine, boot into TWRP, and flash the boot.img located within your /win partition. If it still fails, restore your stock installed Android boot.img.
