First public version of Rice: a Mac app that records your meetings, transcribes them on your machine and writes the notes with the AI you already use.

Highlights

• Local transcription with whisper.cpp (audio never leaves your Mac)
• Notes, chat and "ask about all my meetings" with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, OpenCode or Antigravity — your subscription or API key

Install (Apple Silicon, macOS 14+)

• Developers: git clone https://github.com/WalissonCF/rice.git && cd rice && ./install.sh
• Or download Rice-0.1.0-arm64.dmg below. The app is not signed by Apple. If macOS says "Rice Not Opened", run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Rice.app, or go to System Settings › Privacy & Security › Open Anyway. You also need brew install whisper.cpp.
