Initial release of the Gemini Browser MCP Chrome extension.
What's included
- Chrome extension (load as unpacked in chrome://extensions/)
- Connects to the local WebSocket server on port 8085
- Supports all Gemini models: Flash, Pro, Extended thinking
- Popup UI to manage connected tabs and view active model
How to use
- Download the zip and unzip it
- Go to chrome://extensions/
- Enable Developer mode
- Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder
- Open https://gemini.google.com and log in
