Prima versione stabile di WFastPic.

Novità

• Voto automatico delle foto, tutto sul PC. Dopo le miniature e i volti, WFastPic misura ogni foto (nitidezza, anche dei volti, mosso, esposizione) e le dà da 1 a 5 stelle: stelline vuote viola in basso a destra, ben diverse dalle tue (piene gialle, a sinistra), che non vengono mai toccate. Il perché è nel suggerimento sulla miniatura e nei dettagli del viewer.
• "Da scartare?", nuovo filtro (anche con Tab): le foto mosse, sfocate, quasi nere o quasi tutte bianche. Le scarti una a una con Canc o tutte insieme con Scarta tutte (con conferma). Niente viene scartato da solo.
• Chi conta di più. Nel menu delle Persone: Preferita (stella) e Chi è (Sono io, Famiglia, Amico, Conoscente). Le foto nitide in cui ci sei tu prendono 5 stelle e sono segnate in griglia; tu e le preferite siete in cima all'elenco.
• Viewer, colonna dei dettagli: sezione Voto (il tuo e quello automatico, con i motivi) e sezione Volti come in Picasa. Clic su un volto per dire chi è, confermare o correggere.
• Segnala il problema nel dialogo degli errori: apre GitHub con la segnalazione già scritta, che controlli e invii tu. Percorsi e nomi delle foto, nome utente e nome del PC vengono tolti.
• Programma di installazione: non chiede permessi di amministratore, mette WFastPic nel menu Start, si aggiorna installando la versione nuova sopra e si disinstalla da "App installate" lasciando foto, sidecar e impostazioni.
• Avviso di versione nuova: quando su GitHub c'è una release più recente, in basso a destra compare in piccolo "Nuova versione X disponibile", che apre la pagina per scaricarla. Non scarica niente da solo e non invia dati; si spegne dalle Informazioni.

Come si installa

• WFastPic-1.0.0-win-x64-setup.exe (consigliato): doppio clic e avanti.
• WFastPic-1.0.0-win-x64.zip: versione portatile, scompatta e avvia WFastPic.App.exe.

Windows 10 1809 o successivo, 64 bit. Il programma non è firmato digitalmente: se Windows mostra "Windows ha protetto il PC", scegli "Ulteriori informazioni" → "Esegui comunque". Per le foto HEIC servono le estensioni "HEIF" e "HEVC" del Microsoft Store, se Windows non le ha già. Il pacchetto è stato avviato prima della pubblicazione e il setup è stato provato (installazione, avvio, disinstallazione).

Code signing policy: la firma gratuita del codice è stata richiesta alla SignPath Foundation ed è in attesa, quindi questa release non è ancora firmata. Dettagli nella Code signing policy.

First stable version of WFastPic.

What's new

• Automatic photo rating, all on your PC. After thumbnails and faces, WFastPic measures every photo (sharpness, faces included, camera shake, exposure) and gives it 1 to 5 stars: hollow purple stars at the bottom right, clearly different from yours (filled yellow, on the left), which are never touched. The reason is in the thumbnail tooltip and in the viewer details.
• "To reject?", a new filter (also with Tab): shaken, blurry, almost black or almost all white photos. Reject them one by one with Delete or all together with Reject all (with confirmation). Nothing is rejected on its own.
• Who matters most. In the People menu: Favourite (star) and Who is it (It's me, Family, Friend, Acquaintance). Sharp photos with you in them get 5 stars and are marked in the grid; you and your favourites are at the top of the list.
• Viewer, details column: a Rating section (yours and the automatic one, with the reasons) and a Faces section as in Picasa. Click a face to say who it is, confirm or correct it.
• Report the problem in the error dialog: opens GitHub with the report already written, which you check and send yourself. Photo paths and names, user name and PC name are removed.
• Installer: needs no administrator rights, puts WFastPic in the Start menu, updates by installing the new version over it and uninstalls from "Installed apps", keeping photos, sidecars and settings.
• New version notice: when GitHub has a newer release, a small "New version X available" appears at the bottom right and opens the download page. It downloads nothing on its own and sends no data; turn it off from About.

How to install

• WFastPic-1.0.0-win-x64-setup.exe (recommended): double-click and next.
• WFastPic-1.0.0-win-x64.zip: portable version, unzip and run WFastPic.App.exe.

Windows 10 1809 or later, 64-bit. The program is not digitally signed: if Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", choose "More info" → "Run anyway". HEIC photos need the "HEIF" and "HEVC" extensions from the Microsoft Store if Windows does not already have them. The package was launched before publishing and the installer was tested (install, start, uninstall).

Code signing policy: free code signing has been requested from the SignPath Foundation and is pending, so this release is not signed yet. Details in the Code signing policy.

Novità

• App in italiano e inglese. Tutta l'interfaccia (menu, dialoghi, messaggi, mappe, date) ha la sua versione inglese. All'avvio segue la lingua di Windows; si cambia da Informazioni (in basso a destra) → Lingua: Automatica / Italiano / English, e si applica al riavvio.
• Nuova icona: un sole-obiettivo, con anello, diaframma e raggi come le lamelle di un obiettivo.
• Export più veloce (da 2 a 3 volte): le foto si elaborano 4 alla volta. Nel dialogo c'è il tempo previsto.
• Persone: "È la stessa persona di…" con le faccine, e la griglia sotto segue la persona dopo l'unione.
• Ritaglio e raddrizzamento insieme, come in Picasa; riquadro orizzontale/verticale col tasto O.
• Finestra Informazioni, licenza MIT, README con badge, in italiano e inglese.

Correzioni

• Foto verticali stirate (orientamento EXIF a 90°, tipico dei JPEG dei telefoni): ora hanno le proporzioni giuste nel viewer, nell'editor e nell'export.
• Persone: i nomi dati durante l'analisi ora valgono anche per le foto successive.
• Lo zip della release 0.9.1 non partiva (mancavano i file XAML compilati nel pacchetto): sostituita da questa, il pacchetto è stato avviato in italiano e in inglese prima della pubblicazione.

Come si usa

Scompatta lo zip e avvia WFastPic.App.exe (Windows 10 1809 o successivo, 64 bit; nessuna installazione). Per le foto HEIC servono le estensioni "HEIF" e "HEVC" del Microsoft Store, se Windows non le ha già. Il riconoscimento delle persone scarica i suoi modelli al primo uso e funziona tutto sul PC.

What's new

• App in Italian and English. The whole interface (menus, dialogs, messages, maps, dates) has an English version. At startup it follows the Windows language; change it from About (bottom right) → Language: Automatic / Italiano / English, applied at the next start.
• New icon: a lens-sun, with a ring, an aperture and rays like the blades of a lens.
• Faster export (2 to 3 times): photos are processed 4 at a time. The dialog shows the estimated time.
• People: "Same person as…" with faces, and the grid below follows the person after merging.
• Crop and straighten together, like Picasa; landscape/portrait crop box with the O key.
• About window, MIT license, README with badges, in Italian and English.

Fixed

• Stretched portrait photos (90° EXIF orientation, typical of phone JPEGs): they now keep the right proportions in the viewer, the editor and export.
• People: names given during analysis now also apply to the photos analyzed afterwards.
• The 0.9.1 release zip did not start (the compiled XAML files were missing from the package): this release replaces it, and the package was launched in Italian and English before publishing.

How to use

Unzip and run WFastPic.App.exe (Windows 10 1809 or later, 64-bit; no installation). HEIC photos need the "HEIF" and "HEVC" extensions from the Microsoft Store if Windows does not already have them. People recognition downloads its models on first use and everything runs on your PC.
