Highlights

Uses the official shell.overlay placement, eliminating sidebar footer conflicts.
Expanded mode preserves the native search, filter, and add actions.
In collapsed mode, the Codex button sits below search, matches the Maid gold/native style, and fades in at its final rail position without sliding.
All 30 tests pass.
