Entangled VPN 1.2.8

P2P path hardening + Connection mode. Use client 1.2.8 (server from 1.2.1+ is fine; ship matching server if you want).

Highlights

  • Settings → Connection: Direct (P2P) (default, relay when needed) or Relay (server) (force relay)
  • Direct path only after both directions prove P2P (fixes one-way chat / false Direct)
  • No doubled chat while hole-punching; STUN falls back Cloudflare → Google
  • Path UI can show Direct on a P2P RTT sample while exclusive sends wait for full confirm

Windows client (friends)

  1. Download Entangled.exe
  2. Right-click → Run as administrator
  3. Done — Wintun is embedded; first launch creates wintun.dll next to the exe (keep it)

Existing installs: Settings → Check for updates, or download here.

Server (host)

  • entangled-server-linux-amd64
  • entangled-server-windows-amd64.exe
