v0.9.6 — macOS support
Highlights
- macOS support —
cdp_enabled=trueIDE launch now works on macOS. Verified end-to-end on a Mac mini (Apple Silicon, macOS 15.5): 9222 CDP port reachable, 27 startup logs captured, daemon NDJSON pipe survives across platforms. - Cross-platform launch resolver — New
_resolve_ide_executable_for_cdp()derives the IDE main binary and kill pattern fromWECHAT_DEVTOOLS_CLI. Windows path unchanged; macOS resolves towechatdevtools+package.nw(NW.js entry) and usespkill -ffor cleanup (sincecli quitdoes not match directly-spawned instances). - Default CLI path is platform-aware —
_default_cli_path()returns/Applications/wechatwebdevtools.app/Contents/MacOS/clion darwin, the existing Windows path otherwise. - Node.js detection extended —
node_bridge.pynow probes Homebrew (/opt/homebrew/bin/node,/usr/local/bin/node) and nvm paths on macOS/Linux, addressing GUI-launched MCP processes whosePATHlacks Homebrew. subprocess.CREATE_NO_WINDOWhardened — Replaced direct attribute access withgetattr(subprocess, "CREATE_NO_WINDOW", 0)so tests that patchsys.platformno longer raiseAttributeErroron non-Windows hosts.
Tests
- 8 new cross-platform unit tests in
test_ide_cdp_launch.py(path resolution, kill pattern dispatch, project arg format). - Full suite: 174 passed on Windows and on macOS (Mac mini).
Docs
- README / README_EN: path table now has dedicated Windows and macOS columns; new troubleshooting entry for Homebrew Node detection.
