.SYSTEMX now supports SYSTEMX PROJECTS: multiple projects or channels beneath one shared installation, each with its own exact-case .SYSTEMXP records.

.SYSTEMX/Projects/Project-A/.SYSTEMXP
.SYSTEMX/Projects/Project-B/.SYSTEMXP

Each child has context, a Master Plan, tasks and focus, Agent 0/worker memory, source references, decisions, and optional local status snapshots. The public registry remains empty; no adopted project records ship in this template.

  • Preview-first project creation with setup receipts and refusal to replace existing folders.
  • Explicit --project NAME or --root selection for record and execution commands.
  • Shared task validation, evidence/review rules, and selected working-directory execution.
  • Python library routing and selected-project chat export.
  • Shared outer version pin and additive updates that preserve existing child records and code.
  • Reversible uninstall/restore includes the entire local Projects tree.

After installing the outer template:

bash .SYSTEMX/SYSTEMX.sh projects add Project-A --kind software
bash .SYSTEMX/SYSTEMX.sh projects add Project-A --kind software --apply
bash .SYSTEMX/SYSTEMX.sh projects context --project Project-A --agent agent.0

Read the SYSTEMX PROJECTS manual, version history, and upgrade guide.

Existing custom .SYSTEMXP registries require an explicit reviewed migration; updates preserve their files and do not convert unknown schemas. Child records share one outer installation. Source references do not automatically connect Git, Drive, or chat services, and role registration does not launch agents.

Alpha — use at your own risk; may change daily. Pin reviewed defaults and retain backups. Verification details and checksums accompany the downloads. The Python wheel version 1.7.0a1 and template version 1.7.0-alpha.1 identify the same release.

The 120-test suite completed successfully on Linux, macOS, and Windows with Python 3.9 and 3.13. Platform-dependent skips are reported by the suite. Source checks and the attached report also cover packaging, an actual 1.6-to-1.7 upgrade, selected chat export, and child-file preservation through uninstall/restore.
