dotSYSTEMX 1.9.0-alpha.2 — Agent Y CLI delegation
Pre-releasedotSYSTEMX 1.9.0-alpha.2
This public alpha adds Agent Y, an optional external CLI work lane. Agent 0 assigns one bounded project task and chooses an installed Codex, Copilot, or configured CLI for that task. Agent Y uses a separate Git worktree and task-owned branch, records its observed result, and may open a draft GitHub PR when the task opts in. Agent X records time-ordered evidence; Agent Z can review the outcome. A PR is not task acceptance, and no provider output or score automatically merges code.
PR readiness requires Agent 0 to record acceptance. Closing an unmerged PR requires recorded cancellation and preserves its branch/worktree. Cleanup after an accepted merge is a separate operation that archives the work and checks the exact remote ref before deletion. The default public template still starts with blank project records and Agent 0 only; roles-init --apply activates the optional roles. GitHub Actions are disabled on this repository.
Use at your own risk. This is an experimental alpha format and can change. Real Codex/Copilot runs and GitHub PR writes have not been tested end to end for this release. Agent Y CLI execution is deliberately unavailable on native Windows in this alpha. Copilot/configured providers do not gain an OS sandbox from Agent Y; review their permissions separately. A partial remote write may require manual reconciliation. No production certification is implied.
The earlier public v1.9.0-alpha.1 tag was withdrawn before release after its tag archive failed the distribution fingerprint check. It was not re-pointed. Use v1.9.0-alpha.2.
Checked release evidence
main,Alpha1, and the annotated tag resolve to764af8df6fd5bb960776dc09567ebb00ef602bdc.- The public template validates 153 portable files and 95 Markdown documents.
- Full macOS unittest suites: 205 tests on Python 3.14.5 and 205 on Python 3.9.6; five filesystem-dependent skips each; no failures. Ten separate media/publication tests passed.
- The wheel passed first-run, uninstall, restore, and footprint audits in a disposable project; a custom user file survived byte for byte.
- The exact public tag archive passed a SHA-256-pinned remote first-run preview and apply. An incorrect digest was rejected before installation.
- ZIP and wheel contents match all 153 portable source files.
PUBLIC-REVIEW-1.9.0-alpha.2.jsonrecords the test scope and limits;SHA256SUMSrecords asset digests and the raw codeload archive digest.
Pinned installation example
Install the Python library from this exact tag, then preview the project setup. The digest below is for the raw codeload tag ZIP used by systemx --archive-sha256, not for the separate release ZIP asset.
python -m pip install "git+https://github.com/WayneTechLab/dotSYSTEMX.git@v1.9.0-alpha.2"
