Agent Note CLI 0.2.0 adds the interactive terminal application and keeps it on the same Today backend as the desktop App.

Highlights

  • Interactive terminal navigation with search, previews, paging, source reading and Markdown/JSON export.
  • Native notebook artwork with opening, closing and progress states on supported terminals; unsupported terminals retain the text interface.
  • Rescanning reads current sources without spending model quota; refresh publishes a new workline revision while preserving the previous one on failure.
  • Otty, Ghostty, Kitty, iTerm2 and WezTerm image support, with terminal restoration and signal-safe exit handling.
  • A short terminal preview GIF is included in the README for users who want to see the product before installing it.

Verification and limits

Automated checks cover the shared backend, CLI parity, persistence, package installation, terminal interaction and native image delivery. The model responses in tests are synthetic; this release does not claim a live model quality evaluation. Native image rendering depends on terminal support; other terminals keep the text mark and full TUI behavior.
