Every real book reads in. EPUB and HTML files with accented letters, curly quotes or dashes read in, a page of dense mathematics no longer fails a document, and the progress line counts the pieces inside the book being remembered. See Your documents.
One activity card for everything in the background. Downloads, the documents being read for an AI with a Stop, the cards written after, and the first model's ready note, in one card on every page. Reading keeps going while the app is open, whichever page you are on, and the Knowledge tab and memory page follow it. See Everyday comfort.
Fine-tune, measured first. The dialog opens on what the model runs at now, offers Measure on this computer with its cost stated, then a slider from Faster answers to More room that says what each setup means in pages in view and words a second. The sliders wait under Set it yourself. See Models.
Deletions hold across your computers. A conversation deleted on one machine stays deleted after a restore on another, and a very large conversation the Vault does not hold yet is given the time it needs to reach the backup. See Your records.
Windows shows the real free space on the drive that holds your models, and checks it before a download. See Models.

Everything in this release (5 sections)

EPUB and HTML files with accented letters, curly quotes or dashes read in. The reader walked those files byte by byte and stopped at the first such character, which left the import saying "reading" with no end. A file the reader cannot handle now fails on its own and the rest of the drop continues.
A passage the memory model cannot take whole, such as a page of dense mathematics, is shortened until it fits, so one such passage no longer fails the document.
The progress line counts pieces inside the document being remembered ("Remembering 2 of 6: book.epub (1,240 of 3,500 pieces)"), and the log records pieces and seconds per document.

On Windows, Settings shows the real free space on the drive that holds your models, and the free-space check before a download runs there too. The models folder's path is now matched to its drive the way Windows names it.
Fine-tune is a small button on each model's row. The dialog opens on what the model runs at now and where that came from (automatic, measured here, or set by you), then Measure on this computer as the main event: one sentence that says the cost, one button. After measuring, a slider from Faster answers to More room, a card that says what each setup means in pages in view and words a second, the automatic pick marked on the scale, and one line on the trade-off. The sliders live under Set it yourself. Save Changes closes the dialog and the outcome shows in the activity card.

The edit dialog is headed with the AI's name, following the name field as you type.
The Knowledge tab and the memory page show a read that is already running for that AI, wherever it was started, and their rows appear as each document lands.

A conversation not yet in your Vault is given the backup's long wait to read, so a very large one (a long project session) reaches the backup on the first pass instead of waiting forever. One the Vault already holds keeps the short wait, since its previous copy is carried.
A conversation deleted on one of your computers stays deleted after a restore on another. Each backup carries what its computer deleted, and a restore honors that list along with the one kept here.

One activity card, bottom right, on every page, for everything running in the background: model, engine and Projects helper downloads, the documents being read with the pieces inside the current one and a Stop, and the cards being written afterwards. Jobs stack as rows, a finished row clears itself after a moment, and a failed one stays until dismissed. Reading keeps going while the app is open, whichever page you are on, and your AIs draw on each document as soon as it is in. A read names the AI it is for. The first model's "is ready" note and the vision download show there too.
