| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Sensor selector | Chooses a sensor definition from sensors.json (or your custom file). The signal list updates to match. |
| Connect / Disconnect | Opens or closes the serial port. On connect, the configured command(s) are sent. On disconnect, stop_command is sent if defined. |
| Clear Log | Empties the log area. |
| Save CSV | Exports all data collected since connection. |
Upload your own JSON file to add or test sensor definitions. Custom entries appear in the dropdown marked with 🆕. See Sensor Configuration Reference.

| Width / Height | Chart size in pixels |
| Chart datapoints | How many points the chart keeps (its visible length) |
| Signals | For each signal: include checkbox, colour picker, tension (line smoothness), thickness (line width) |
| Create Chart | Adds the chart to the Charts area |
- Any number of charts can exist at once.
- X-axis: real time (seconds). Y-axis: signal values.
- Each chart can show several signals.
- The ❌ button in a chart header removes that chart.
- Shows each raw packet in hexadecimal.
- Shows the checksum result: ✅ pass or ❌ fail.
- You can limit how many packets are kept and toggle auto-scroll.
- One row per valid frame.
- First column:
timestamp(ISO 8601). Remaining columns: all parsed signals. - Filename pattern:
polluSens_data_<timestamp>.csv. - Contains everything since the connection started, regardless of what is currently plotted.
