Changes in version 4.5.1

  • Feature: Install WordPress security releases immediately, even outside the Auto Update Check timeframe (on by default; plugin, theme and major WordPress updates still wait for the next scheduled check)
  • Feature: Alert emails for On-Demand Checks can now be set in the On-Demand Check settings
  • Improvement: The Auto Update Check result email is now sent by the WebChange Detector service instead of your website, so delivery no longer depends on your site's mail setup
  • Improvement: On-Demand Checks now send the plugins, themes and WordPress versions that changed between the pre-update and post-update screenshots to the WebChange Detector service
  • Improvement: Clearer next steps after an On-Demand Check: "Start a new check" or "Check again"
  • Improvement: Security updates installed without checks are marked as such in the update history
  • Fix: Quotes and special characters in AI analysis descriptions are no longer shown as HTML codes
  • Fix: The activation link in the trial signup email now uses https when your site runs on https
