New feature:

  • Basic support for the CSV (Comma-Separated Values) text format following the general guidelines in RFC 4180. This includes a new tree:csv builtin to output a (flat) treelike object as CSV, and a .csv extension handler to implicitly parse .csv files into data objects.

Minor breaking change:

  • If the tree:addNextPrevious builtin is asked to add next/previous links to an array of primitive values like strings, each returned object will have that primitive value available as a value property. Previously the primitive value was returned as either a @text property (if the value was a string) or else as a @data property.

Other changes:

  • Fixed a bug in the way tree:map would cache calculated keys, in which multiple maps of the same underlying tree could cause the wrong keys to be used.
  • The generation of an RSS feed from a JSON Feed object has been factored into a separate package, @weborigami/json-feed-to-rss, allowing it to be used directly in other projects without requiring the full @weborigami/origami package.
  • Likewise, some Origami functions like templates that work against asynchronous trees have been promoted to the underlying @weborigami/async-tree library, giving plain JavaScript apps the ability to use them without requiring the full @weborigami/origami.
