Control Surfaces gains a display, and Settings gains a map of every GPIO.

Character and OLED panels. Wire an HD44780 LCD, a character OLED, or an SSD1306 / SH1106 graphic OLED to a pair of I2C pins and the device has a front panel. Up to 16 dashboard pages show anything a control can drive, for a channel or a group, with a level bar on values that have a range to plot inside. Choose what the panel rests on between changes: one fixed page, the dashboard on a cycle, or everything in rotation. Each line's horizontal alignment is yours to set.

Changes pop up as they happen. Move a knob, press a remote key, or change something here in the app, and the panel shows it for as long as you set before going back. Nothing needs a page of its own for that: a control can pop up whatever it just changed.

A front panel from one encoder and one button. Bind an encoder to Browse/Adjust and a button to Allow Editing: turn to browse pages, press to arm, turn to adjust, press to leave. Editing disarms itself after a set idle time, an LED can show the armed state, and turning Arm Before Editing off lets the encoder adjust straight away instead.

An Overview page in Settings. Every claimed GPIO in one place, grouped by what claims it, with the free pins mapped at the top.

Also

  • Learned remote keys can address a channel group directly, which took a macro per press before.
  • An LED can carry a brightness ceiling, which scales its duty rather than clipping it, so a level meter keeps its full sweep.
  • The Settings sidebar colours are reworked.
  • Fixed: against firmware with control-surface capability v10, the IR receiver, channel groups and macros all read as absent. The capability header grew a row and the app was asking for the old size.
  • Fixed: a control driving a parameter that changes quickly could flood the app with updates and lock the window up. An unwired potentiometer does exactly that: its pin reads noise, so the firmware sees the knob moving a thousand times a second.
  • Fixed: adding a component the device rejected flashed and vanished, taking the reason with it. The card now stays put with its error showing.

Requires firmware with control-surface capability v10 for the display, v11 for line alignment, v12 for LED brightness ceilings, and v13 for level bars. Older firmware hides what it lacks.
