Security: enable Touch ID for sudo via sudo_local (survives updates), turn on the application firewall + stealth mode, require an immediate screen-lock password, and disable Homebrew analytics (telemetry policy). Usability: save screenshots to ~/Pictures/Screenshots, default Finder search to the current folder, speed up Dock auto-hide, enable press-and-hold key repeat, tap-to-click, and disable window animations.
