Git PR Flow v1.1.0
What changed
A plain git push from main now completes the entire personal-repository workflow:
- preserves direct-main commits on a generated work branch
- opens a real pull request
- waits for CI checks to register and finish
- refuses to merge failed checks
- squash-merges passing work
- removes the work branch and returns to synchronized
main
The hook remains scoped to configured personal repositories and still preserves failed or timed-out PRs for repair.
Upgrade
git pull --ff-only
./install.shGit PR Flow v1.0.0
First release. Direct pushes to the default branch of standalone personal repositories are safely converted into work branches and draft pull requests. Conditional Git configuration keeps work repositories and forks out of scope, existing repository hooks are chained, and the behavior is covered by an end-to-end integration test.
