Each class tab in /wsmb ships with 6 curated TBC macros — 54 presets total. Click any preset row to load it into the editor; tweak as needed; save.
The presets focus on:
-
@mouseover/@focuscasting — for healers and crowd-controllers who need to act without target swapping. -
Modifier-chained macros —
[mod:shift],[mod:ctrl]to layer multiple actions on one keybind. - Stance / form / stealth gating — for warriors, druids, and rogues whose ability set changes with state.
-
#showtooltipat the top so the macro icon shows the relevant ability cooldown / proc state.
- Open
/wsmband click the class tab. - The 6 preset rows appear above the editor. Each row shows its name and the first ~50 chars of the macro body.
- Click a row → the editor populates with the full macro.
- Edit freely — the live 255-char counter (top-right of the editor) tells you when you're approaching Blizzard's limit.
- Choose Global or Per-Character scope (radio at the top of the icon strip).
- Save — appends if it's a new macro name; overwrites if you've loaded an existing macro from the icon strip first. The mode hint above the Save button tells you which mode you're in.
The new macro shows up in the icon strip on the right side of the panel. From there:
- Left-click the icon → load the macro back into the editor.
-
Drag the icon onto any action bar slot — uses
PickupMacrounder the hood. Combat-safe (blocked in combat with a status message). -
Click the
?next to the Name field to swap the macro's icon (full picker grid). - Delete removes the loaded macro after a confirmation popup.
Presets aren't trying to cover every macro you'd ever want — they're starting points for the patterns most TBC players rely on. If you have a missing pattern that other classes would benefit from, the addon's GitHub repo accepts issues / PRs.
