v3.06-test — multi-card fix (test build)
Test build for the multi-card stall reported on an ASRock H510 Pro BTC+ (four cards in slots 2/4/6/7, only the first one unlocked on v3.05). On-screen banners: v3.06-test FULL-NOGEN2 / v3.06-test compute-only.
Fixed: the last do_flr() on a card ran without restoring BAR0, unlike every other FLR site in the file. BAR0 comes back as 0, so on the next iteration the cold-boot probe on card 0 read MMIO from base 0, decided the card was still locked and pulled the card index back to 0. The cycle could never get past the first card, in the FULL and the compute build alike. The v3.04 reboot came from the same stuck card 0 walking the whole 37-entry table with BAR0 = 0.
Also fixed: the base pass advanced the card index before that card had its fire pass, so card 0 never got GFX_SPEED_SELECT (it is written in the fire branch only); and CMP90G2 was never cleared in the FULL_NOGEN2 build because its delete sat under #ifndef FULL_NOGEN2.

Status: build only, not verified on hardware yet. Multi-card needs a board with several cards. If only the first card still unlocks, a photo of the screen would help: the lines to look at are MULTI-CARD: найдено ... and multi-card: BootNext -> Boot..., and whether a second iteration appears without a reboot.
Notes: Secure Boot must be off; the unlock is volatile (re-apply after every cold boot). Source is commit 7a2397c. The v3.05 release stays as the current stable build.
v3.05 — NOGEN2 walk fix (issue #5)
Fixes issue #5 (NOGEN2 build walked a pointless 37-entry table and rebooted some boards). On-screen banners: v3.05 FULL-NOGEN2 / v3.05 compute-only.
Fixed (issue #5): the FULL-NOGEN2 build walked the whole 37-entry rejoin16 mask table even though it configures no PCIe link. Those entries (XVE/XP3G/OPTB/LINK_CAP) only serve the Gen2 speed path, and each costs one FLR-separated mini-cycle (~15 s). On a cold boot with every mask locked that was ~10 minutes, and two boards rebooted mid-walk (Kaby Lake 36/37, Ryzen 24/37). v3.05 walks only the three FEAT-page PLMs the render path needs (0x823804 / 0x823800 / 0x823b04), so a cold unlock is ~1 minute. The full table is still built into unlock_v3f.efi (v3.02-full), the only build that does the Gen2 link config.

Notes: Secure Boot must be off; the unlock is volatile (re-apply after every cold boot). v3.04 has been removed (same walk bug — its images are gone); the older v3.0/v3.03 releases are superseded. See KNOWN-ISSUES.md.
v3.0 — Release
CMP 90HX unlock for Windows — EFI bootloader, no reboots, no key presses.
- Image:
cmp90-unlock-v3.img(268 MB, GPT + ESP) - MD5:
6cbcc911666f4ac4dc71fce27abeeef8 - Verified on two real systems
What you get after booting from the USB (F12):
- ✅ Windows loads with the card at full power (10 GB VRAM, all CUDA cores, full clocks)
- ✅ Or you return to the boot menu and pick another boot device — no reboot happens, the unlock state persists until POST
Performance (locked → unlocked):
- llama-2-7B Q4_0 pp512: ~230 → 3705 t/s (16×)
- Gaming (Resident Evil Requiem): 31–63 FPS, core 1875 MHz, up to 6.9 GB VRAM
See README for installation. For gaming, a patched driver (dartraiden/NVIDIA-patcher) is required.
