A tiny macOS window switcher — a mini version of AltTab. Press ⌘Tab to switch between windows (not just apps), with titles and icons.

What's new in v0.1.1

  • The list item under the mouse cursor is now selected on hover — pair it with a click, Return, or releasing ⌘ to switch to the window you're pointing at.

Install

  1. Download MiniSwitcher.zip below and unzip it.
  2. Move MiniSwitcher.app to /Applications (or anywhere you like).
  3. The app is ad-hoc signed and not notarized, so Gatekeeper will block it on first launch. Either:
    • Right-click the app → Open, then confirm in the dialog, or
    • run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /path/to/MiniSwitcher.app in Terminal.
  4. Launch it, then grant Accessibility access when prompted (or under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility). This is needed to read window titles and raise the selected window.

Requires macOS 13+ and the Swift toolchain:
