v1.7.3
Fixed

  • Older programmes are no longer advertised at 1080p when the BBC cannot
serve it, and a 1080p grab of one no longer fails first and falls back.
Two checks were trusting the wrong signal. The quality probe took
mediaselector's height="1080" at face value, but on the iptv-all
mediaset that attribute names the packaging profile, not an encoded
rendition; Waterloo Road series 5 and 6 report 1080 there while their
HLS masters top out at 720p. And the hidden-1080p probe treated an HTTP
200 on the video=12000000 rewrite as proof, but USP answers 200 whenever
the audio track matches and, when the video track does not exist,
quietly serves audio only. ffmpeg finished that in seconds, ffprobe
found no video stream, the truncation gate fired, and the retry
degraded to 720p. A mediaselector 1080 claim is now verified against
the HLS master and, when the master lists less, the hidden rewrite is
    fetched and must carry real video segments before 1080p is believed;
a phantom is replaced by the highest height the master actually lists.
Episodes that genuinely have a hidden 1080p (Waterloo Road S06E07) are
    unaffected. Fixes #54.
Upgrade: pull ghcr.io/will-luck/iplayer-arr:1.7.3 (or :latest). No config
changes. On first start, quality-cache rows carrying a 1080 are dropped
once so affected programmes re-probe; the next search rebuilds them.
