🚀 Minor Update – v0.2.0

This release brings significant improvements to AttendoBot, making it more robust, scalable, and user-friendly for large communities.

✨ What’s New & Improved

  • Async & Concurrency Refactor:
Migrated all database operations to use httpx with true asynchronous concurrency, replacing supabase-py. Both Supabase and Google Form requests are now managed with configurable concurrency limits for better performance and reliability.
  • Google Form Handling:
Google Form URL extraction now happens when adding a form, not during every attendance mark, reducing latency and API calls.
  • Enhanced Error Handling:
Improved feedback for invalid or private Google Form URLs and better error messages for users and admins.
  • Type Annotations:
Added type hints and improved code clarity for easier maintenance and onboarding.
  • Documentation & Config:
Updated technical documentation and .env.example to reflect the latest configuration and deployment requirements.

🛠️ Upgrade Notes

  • Update your .env file using the new .env.example template.
  • Review the updated documentation for new setup and deployment instructions.

For full details, see the README and Technical Documentation.
