We rendered a .faf. 🔥 The day we saw FAF.

A major development — not a feature note. A .faf was always machine-readable. v6.7 is the day it became human-visible: the same context your AI reads, rendered for human and team review, on-demand, in any browser.

Install + run (verified)

npm install -g faf-cli@latest # one line — install or update
faf show # in any project dir → renders project.html, opens it

Also: brew install faf-cli (Homebrew formula at 6.7.0).

Added

  • faf show — render project.faf → project.html and open it. One verb.
  • faf export --html (and --all) — emit project.html alongside AGENTS.md / .cursorrules / GEMINI.md.
  • project.html renderer — self-contained, zero-dep, HTML-escaped, deterministic. Scored by the real scorer. Trophy renders the earned award; sub-Trophy renders the honest gaps — a map, not a verdict. A cross-check: see what your AI sees, fix it at the root.
  • Public API — generateProjectHtml, writeProjectHtml, scoreFafYaml, findFafFile, readFaf, readFafRaw, FAF_HEX — one single-sourced renderer, no reinvention.

Changed

  • Tier colours single-sourced via FAF_HEX; Bronze deep-cyan #0E8C8C (was indistinguishable from Silver).

Fixed

  • faf show opener uses the canonical externalized open dependency.

The 4th pillar:

FAF defines. MD instructs. AI codes. HTML shows.
