pnpm installs work: faf-cli depends on faf-scoring-kernel from npm, not a vendored folder. Patch — inherits The Always33 Edition. 2079 tests.

Fixed

  • pnpm installs of anything that depends on faf-cli 8.0.0 failed with ERR_PNPM_LINKED_PKG_DIR_NOT_FOUND. 8.0.0 declared "faf-scoring-kernel": "file:./vendor/faf-scoring-kernel": npm resolves that inside faf-cli, pnpm resolves it from the consumer's project root, where no such folder exists. faf-cli now depends on faf-scoring-kernel ^3.0.0 from npm, the same files byte for byte, and no longer ships vendor/.

Added

  • pnpm dlx faf is a documented way to run faf without installing, alongside bunx faf and npx faf, in the README, SUPPORT.md, the /faf command and the docs. faf stays the verb: pnpm dlx faf score.
  • CI installs the packed tarball with npm, pnpm and bun on every PR and push to main, and runs faf --version and faf score from each install.

Install: npm i -g faf-cli · run without installing: bunx faf · npx faf · pnpm dlx faf
