faf cards gives MCP cards to a project.faf alone only when its type is mcp. Found by a clean-folder run of 8.3.0. 2216 tests.

Fixed

  • A library with only a project.faf no longer gets an MCP Server Card. With no agent.fafa, faf cards wrote server-card for any project. Now a project.faf typed cli, library or anything else that isn't mcp gets no MCP Server Card or registry server.json, and one line says why and what to run. --target mcp still writes them. A project.faf typed mcp or mcp-server, or naming no type, keeps them. 8.2.2 did the same, so this wasn't new in 8.3.0. (#170)
