OSRS Toolkit 1.3.3
Highlights
- The journal can change a batch of trades at once. Select several rows with Ctrl or
Shift and the update button becomes a batch editor: set the status, the strategy, or the
character on all of them in one go. Built for the shopping trip that lands twenty positions
you meant to file as Supplies. Anything left on "Leave unchanged" is not touched, and the
batch editor deliberately cannot reach a price, a fill or a quantity — those differ per
position, and one wrong click should not be able to overwrite a day's real numbers. Delete
works across a selection now too. - The window is much quicker to respond. Clicking between tabs had become sluggish. The
live-state poll was making seven blocking requests to the website every three seconds
instead of two, because the cache meant to collapse them held one entry while each refresh
asked about two things in turn, so every single call missed. Measured against the live
site, that was the window sitting frozen 35% of the time; it is now under 10%.
Fixed
- A stalled request could freeze the window for up to 20 seconds. The live-state poll and the
journal mirror's version check both ran on a timer with a timeout meant for a one-off
request nobody is waiting on. Both are bounded well under their own intervals now. - A single dropped poll kept the connection line but emptied the Grand Exchange panel, which
is the same blip disagreeing with itself. Both sides now ride out one failure and report
the second. - Website unreachable now says what actually went wrong — a status code, a timeout, a DNS
failure — instead of only that something did.
OSRS Toolkit 1.3.2
Fixed
- The "Website unreachable" banner stopped flickering on and off. It polls the site every
few seconds, and a single dropped request over a home internet connection — a lost packet, a
slow handshake — was enough to flip the whole connection banner for a tick before flipping
back on the next successful poll. It now reuses the last known state for a single failed poll,
so only two failures in a row are reported as a real interruption.
OSRS Toolkit 1.3.1
Changed
- The journal now picks out one thing while you trade: the price. The old highlight washed
the whole row blue and bolded the quantity beside the price, and it followed wherever you were
standing rather than what the Grand Exchange was doing — opening a "Set up offer" box on one
item dropped every other offer that was still filling, and walking away from the GE put the
lot out. It is now driven by the offers themselves. While the Grand Exchange is buying
something, the buy price is marked on every journal row for that item; while it is selling,
the ask is. It starts when the offer box opens, holds while the offer fills and while you are
off doing something else, and clears when you collect the slot. Nothing else on the row is
touched — the background belongs to the flash, which is saying a different thing. - A Grand Exchange slot only blinks when its offer filled. It used to blink for any finished
offer, cancelling included — calling you back to look at something you cancelled yourself a
second earlier. Cancelled offers still show as waiting to be collected; they just don't ask
for your attention.
Fixed
- Clicking the Needs attention card jumped to the oldest flagged position rather than the
newest, whatever the card said. It kept the rows it was counting in a set, which has no order,
and then took whichever one came out first.
OSRS Toolkit 1.3.0
Highlights
- The Trade Journal can now import a CSV, not just export one. Choose whether to add the
file to what is already there or replace it; replacing asks a second time and tells you how
many trades it would delete first. Completed trades come back exactly. Positions still in
flight are listed as skipped rather than half-restored, because a CSV does not carry the
fills, the listed price or the status that make a position a position. - The RuneLite activity tab is gone. It had stopped being able to receive anything: since
this app started reading through the website, the journal it mirrors carries your trades and
positions but not the raw event feed, so that tab was permanently empty. Its connection
status moved to the journal toolbar, where it still tells you whether fills are arriving.
Fixed
- The Grand Exchange panel no longer blanks itself for a moment whenever a request to the
website is slow. It read "the website did not answer" as "no character is logged in" and
hid the slots, which during a busy Grand Exchange session meant the panel disappearing over
and over while the plugin was sending perfectly. The last known character is held through a
blip now, and only a real answer naming nobody empties the panel.
OSRS Toolkit 1.2.3
Highlights
- This app no longer has any path that reads RuneLite data straight off this PC. With no
desktop access token entered it used to fall back to~/.runelite/osrs-toolkitsilently —
exactly the plugin feeding an app on the same machine that the RuneLite Plugin Hub does not
accept, and a fresh install's default state until Settings was touched. A fresh install now
reads only through the website, configured or not; an empty Settings dialog means nothing
arrives, not a quiet fallback.
Fixed
- The Connect RuneLite dialog told someone who already had the plugin running to go install
it, whenever no desktop access token was entered — an unconfigured website connection and a
never-installed plugin used to report identically. It now says plainly when a token is
what's missing.
OSRS Toolkit 1.2.2
Highlights
- The app has a proper icon in the taskbar again. It always had one — Explorer's preview pane
drew it fine — but the file held a single 256x256 image, and everything that asks for a
smaller one drew a blank square instead. - Live RuneLite state works. The website could not tell this app that the plugin was
connected, so Grand Exchange slots and the offer box stayed empty however long the game had
been running.
Fixed
- The taskbar showed a blank square instead of the app's icon. The icon contained only a
single 256x256 image stored as an uncompressed bitmap, and the taskbar, Alt-Tab and
Explorer's list views all want something around 16-48px. It now carries seven sizes from 16
to 256, each PNG-compressed. - The website could never tell this app that the RuneLite plugin was connected. The shared
sync client asked the sync service about live state without naming a character, which
matched nothing and so answered "not connected" no matter how many heartbeats had landed.
Live Grand Exchange slots and the offer box were empty for the same reason.
Changed
- Reading live plugin state costs one request to the sync service instead of three. The
service answers status, slots and the offer box together precisely so a page shows one
moment; asking three times was both slower and the only way to get an inconsistent answer.
OSRS Toolkit 1.2.1
Fixed
- The app crashed on launch with a saved window state that restored as maximized or
fullscreen: restoring that geometry fires a window-state-change event before the journal
mirror timer it reaches for existed yet.
OSRS Toolkit 1.2.0
Highlights
- The desktop app can now mirror its journal against your runescope.app
account. Get a desktop access token from your profile there, paste it into
Settings → Website, and a trade or tracked position recorded in either place reaches the
other within a minute — delete one somewhere and it disappears everywhere. Leave it
disconnected and the app is exactly what it always was: a local journal on your PC, nothing
sent anywhere. - RuneLite data now reaches this app through the website rather than a folder the plugin writes
on this PC. The RuneLite Plugin Hub does not allow a plugin that feeds an application on the
same machine it runs on, so the plugin posts to a small sync service instead, the website
collects from that, and this app reads from there. If you are still running an older version
of the plugin that writes to.runelite\osrs-toolkit, this app still reads that folder too —
nothing you already had stops working.
Fixed
- Grand Exchange fills and offers synced from more than one RuneLite character through the same
pairing token could cross between them — a fill on one character's account could land on
another character's tracked position instead of its own. - The Connect RuneLite dialog stated flatly that trade history is never sent anywhere and
offered an "Open sync folder" button, regardless of whether the app was actually reading from
a local folder or from the website. Signed in, that button could open a broken location; the
privacy line now says which is actually true for how you have it set up.
OSRS Toolkit 1.1.3
Fixed
- PvM Readiness's "Missing gear" column named only the requirement category (e.g. "Ranged
weapon"), not which items would satisfy it — you had to already know the checklist to
know what to buy or bank. It now lists the specific items accepted for that slot. - The Leviathan, Phantom Muspah, and Nex all required a ranged weapon but left the Toxic
blowpipe off their accepted list, despite it being wiki-recommended gear for all three —
an account holding one could be told it needed a ranged weapon it already owned. - The in-app update check only ran once, at startup. A session left open for a while would
never notice a release published after launch. It now rechecks automatically every hour.
OSRS Toolkit 1.1.2
Fixed
- PvM Readiness's Perilous Moons checklists (Blue Moon, Blood Moon, Eclipse Moon) only
recognized 3-4 weapons each, missing several the wiki's own strategy guide recommends —
including the moons' own reward weapons, Dual macuahuitl and Belle's folly. An account
correctly geared for a moon could be told it was missing a weapon it was holding. - Eclipse Moon's stab checklist referenced "Zamorakian spear," which isn't a real item name
and could never match anything a player owned. Corrected to Zamorakian hasta.
