The fifth major release of the Haste Archipelago

You will need to subscribe to and enable the Mod on Steam.

New YAML Features

  • Disaster Shards are now supported, acting as Shards 11-14 in the Shard Goal setting
  • Starting Shard allows you to choose which Shard your checks begin in, removing locations in all previous Shards
    • When playing with Progressive Speed Upgrades, you will be pre-given enough of them to keep up with your Starting Shard
    • All hub purchases will still expect 1 additional Progressive Shard before being logically available
  • Dynamic Scaling for both Shopsanity and Fragmentsanity, which sets the checks in each Shard relative to the length of the Shard itself
    • The length of each Shard can be found here
  • Global Shop Packs can be added to hard-lock later Global Shopsanity purchases, segmented into blocks of 15 purchases
    • An additional setting to add extra Packs has also been added
  • Quality of Life options
    • Refund Bad Purchases will refund you any Sparks spent on AP Shop Items that would not send a check. This setting does nothing if you do not have Shopsanity Separate enabled.
    • Remove Separate AP Shop Items When Done will prevent AP Shop Items from appearing in Shops once you have exceeded the available checks in that region (either through completely running out, or lacking sufficient Global Shop Packs)
    • Scout Hub Locations enabled all hub purchases to also send AP hints upon opening their respective NPC's dialogue
      • This setting can be overridden at any time via the in-game options menu.
  • Anti-Quality of Life option
    • Base Disaster Level will permanently set all Shards to have the corresponding Disaster Shard effects
      • This setting is provided WITHOUT ANY SAFEGUARDING LOGIC. Do NOT enable unless you know what you are doing.
      • This base Disaster level will stack with any Disaster Traps, but will not stack with the normal Disaster Shards

Logic Changes

  • The Crispy and Twister Flopsy costume purchases have been moved out of Vanilla Plus and into Vanilla, since the Disaster Shards that lock them are now accessible
  • Expensive Captain's Upgrade and Fashion Weeboh Purchases will require additional Progressive Shards before becoming logically available
    • Captain's Upgrades:
      • Purchase 1-2: No additional Shards
      • Purchase 3-4: 2 additional Shards
      • Purchase 5: 4 additional Shards
      • Purchase 6: 6 additional Shards
      • EXCEPTION: The first and only 'Max Lives' Upgrade purchase expects 2 additional Shards, as it is the same price as Purchase 4 in other upgrade lines
    • Costume Purchases:
      • Flopsy and Weeboh: 2 additional Shards
      • Zoe 64, Twisted Flopsy, and Totally Accurate Zoe: 4 additional Shards

Bugfixes

  • Fixed Courier's Board not being considered a valid Ability to access Shards 5 & beyond
  • Fixed Wraith's Hourglass and Sage's Cowl having swapped IDs in some places, which lead to weird fill errors with the Totally Accurate Zoe costume purchase
  • Fixed issue where Little Sister and Supersonic Zoe costumes were not being locked properly in Vanilla Plus and All Unlocks
  • Fixed issue where "Seperate" was used several times instead of "Separate", which is how the word is actually spelled
