xcamTrials (Xtrial) manages trials similar to XMAlab.
Once you have imported your Mayacams (Xcam), you can apply image data and associated animations here.
- To change default name, type a new name and Press Enter
- Use V button to select and load a different trial
- Add trial or Delete trials as need
- If you have Individuals associated with each trial, only the current indvidual will be visible in viewports and the hypergraph. Select Show Trials if you want to see all Individuals with their animated data. (only the current selected trials image sequences will show)
- Trials are a special type of node that are not visible in the hypergraph hierarchy, but only in the input-output connections in the hypergraph. The trial stores strings for the Individual file path, the namepace, and x number of associated xcam image sequence paths
- Individual is a maya scene with the rigid bodies/objects for an individual subject.
- A reference is created to this file. For more information on file referencing, see here
- Select rigid bodies from individual to import XMA trial data
- By default, only the reference for the current trial is loaded and all other trial references are unloaded (they are still there but not visible in scene or hypergraph - but they still hold any animation that was imported). To load all trial references, select the Show All Trials checkbox
- Namespace unique identifier added to the name of each object from the "individual" file reference (humerus listed as namepace:humerus)
- If maya cams add the image sequence path here by clicking on the ... button. Make sure image sequence is checked
