The axes tool allows you to create a large, red-green-blue, tri-axial coordinate system. Window will remember last used selections.
Important
Axes transformation scale are set to one and size is set by a unitLenCM attribute - if you use the scaleX, scaleY, scaleZ to change size of you axes, measurements taken from the axes may produce unexpected results. It is best to use axAdj to change the size or style of your axes.
If you change the color of an axes parent, the axes will inherit the color UNLESS you select the shapeNode of the parent and change its color.
If you accidentally change axes color, simply use axAdj to reset the colors.
Steps
Type axes Name
Type the size in cm.
Select whether you would like Hemi or Full axes (see examples below) using the radio buttons.
Select whether you would like axes to be created as a Single Object, or for each axis to be created as a Separate object, using the radio buttons.
