🚀 Anndromeda™ RoyaleAPI v5.0.1-alpha

Release Date: 2025-02-14

IMPORTANT: This is an alpha release and is mostly stable, though still in active development. It is NOT intended for production use but is expected to perform well for testing. The scraper's logic has been completely rewritten to work with Traderie’s updated HTML structure.

Note: The application has switched from Playwright to Puppeteer with Stealth to bypass blocking mechanisms for automated browsing. This version has undergone significant changes in architecture and is expected to function smoothly in most cases.

Anndromeda™ operates as a sister company to Xelvanta Group and shares the same parent organization.

📌 Highlights

🛠️ Bug Fixes

  • 🐞 Scraping Logic – Fixed an issue where the page was not being properly scraped due to changes in Traderie's HTML structure. The new logic ensures that item names and values are correctly extracted.
  • 🐞 Stealth Mode Implementation – Resolved issues with Puppeteer’s Stealth mode, preventing blocking and allowing for smoother scraping without interruptions.
  • 🐞 Page Navigation Handling – Fixed a bug where the scraper would fail to navigate properly between pages, ensuring all pages are scraped in sequence.
  • 🐞 Data Extraction Stability – Improved the data extraction process by ensuring the item names and values are parsed correctly from the updated HTML structure.
  • 🐞 Performance Improvements – Addressed slowdowns related to page loading and reduced unnecessary waits to improve scraping speed.

  • 📈 Node.js and npm Integration – The scraper now operates in a Node.js environment with npm for package management, improving modularity and extendability.

  • 📈 Improved Handling of Traderie’s New Structure – The scraper is designed to navigate and extract data according to Traderie’s newly updated HTML structure, ensuring compatibility with the platform.

🔧 Known Issues

  • ⚠️ Quart Server Shutdown Issue – There may be trouble stopping the Quart server after the last page is scraped. To resolve this, simply press Ctrl+C to keyboard interrupt, and the server will stop and return the JSON data properly at the endpoint. This will be resolved in future versions.
  • ⚠️ Occasional Performance Hiccups – Scraping may experience brief slowdowns during pagination or when fetching data from multiple pages. Efforts to improve performance are ongoing. General speed has been significantly improved, but may still be slightly slow.
  • ⚠️ Minor Instabilities – While most features work well, some parts of the scraper may still exhibit issues or bugs. It is recommended for testing and development use.
  • ⚠️ Incomplete Feature Set – Some features are still under development. Future updates will continue to improve functionality and stability.
