First release of robots.txt for Swift: parse robots.txt files and decide whether a crawler may fetch a path (RFC 9309).

  • Implements robots.txt spec v0.1.2. Conformance: core ✓ io ✓ full ✓ (130/130)
  • Swift tools 6.0; iOS 16 / macOS 13 / Linux. No dependencies; the core is Foundation-free
  • Products: RobotsTxt (core) and RobotsTxtIO (fetch over a Transport, with a URLSession transport)
  • Within 2× of the Rust texting_robots crate: 1.86×
  • Fuzzed for 11 min (4.4 M inputs), clean
