Release list
Cardloader v0.1.0
The first public release of Cardloader, a desktop app that scans trading, sports and comic cards from a folder or a document scanner, identifies and grades them with the Ximilar API, and keeps every run as a session, on your computer and in Ximilar Cards Cloud.
What it does
- Identify cards with Ximilar's TCG ID, Sport ID, Comics ID and Slab ID, or let Auto detect the type. Front and back images are paired by name; graded slabs show the company, grade and certificate number.
- Grade cards: full grading (corners, edges, surface, centering), condition, or centering only.
- Scan with a RICOH/Fujitsu fi-8170 or any SANE/TWAIN document scanner, or watch a folder another app saves into.
- Identify offline with an optional local model (Liquid AI's LFM2/LFM2.5-VL, downloaded on demand).
- Sync to Ximilar Cards Cloud, continue a session from another computer, and import or export CSV.
- Pause, stop and resume sessions, even after a restart.
You need a Ximilar API token: paste it in Settings. Every analysed card costs API credits; see Ximilar pricing.

First launch
These builds aren't signed yet, so your system asks before opening them the first time:
- macOS: the first launch says Apple could not verify Cardloader. Click Done, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, click Open Anyway next to the Cardloader message and confirm. (Or run
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Cardloader.appin Terminal.) - Windows: in the SmartScreen window, click More info → Run anyway.
- Linux (AppImage): make the file executable (
chmod +x Cardloader_0.1.0_amd64.AppImage) and run it.
See the README for setup, scanners, the local model and CSV formats. Report problems in Issues, and security issues privately as described in SECURITY.md.
