v0.2.0: HE-star RAW pre-capture and dual-card routing

公开组合包 04.04.p0 的本轮实拍文件验证通过。 81 个拍摄帧产生 102 个 NEF（62 个 HE★、40 个 HE）和 62 个 JPEG；全部 NEF 完整解码，21 对双卡 NEF 的 RAW 条带和像素一致，60 对分卡 RAW／JPEG 对应，全部 NEF 无诊断尾标。HQ／Proxy 两段 4K 29.97p、10-bit 4:2:2 录像分别 171／174 帧，量化矩阵及视频／音频完整解码通过。原始文件保留在只读卡上，没有复制到电脑或发布；临时解码文件已清理。

The public combined 04.04.p0 camera session passed these bounded file checks: all 102 NEFs completely decoded, 21 dual-card RAW pairs matched, no diagnostic footers, and all HQ/Proxy video and audio decoded without errors. This does not cover nearly full cards or prolonged stress. The existing tag, toolkit ZIP and precompiled patch remain unchanged; this is a validation-status update.

以已完成实拍验证的 HN8 为基础更新 RAW 预拍摄实现。这是 pre-release，仍属于实验固件。

• C15／C30 支持 HE／HE★，预拍及全按后帧使用普通“画质”菜单设置。
• 不再需要 Z8PRE.CFG；QUAL／f2、取景画质标识和 i 菜单跟随普通画质。旧 CFG 被忽略，删除它也不会停用 RAW；切换 JPEG 请使用机内菜单。
• 双卡支持备份及 RAW／JPEG 分卡，每帧按提交时的副卡槽功能、主卡槽设置完成排队写入。
• ProRes HQ／Standard／LT／Proxy 及菜单库保存的补丁配方不变，可单选或与 RAW 预拍摄组合。
• 公开版使用独立标识并默认关闭诊断尾标。示例固件版本为 04.04.p0，承接上一版 04.03；工具仍要求显式填写 --version，并无固定默认版本。

已知风险：避免在接近写满的卡上拍摄。 剩余张数与空间预留仍按原厂 HSFC JPEG 计划计算，没有覆盖额外 NEF，可能出现 JPEG 能写而 NEF 空间不足，造成写入失败、漏文件或不完整文件。此问题尚未验证或修复，也没有测得安全空闲阈值；双卡都要留足空间，不能把剩余张数当作 RAW 容量保证。完整范围见使用指南。

请下载 NikonFirmwarePatch-v0.2.0-toolkit.zip，其中包含全部工具源码、许可证、验证配方及已审阅的预编译补丁。GitHub 自动 Source code 包不含预编译补丁。默认构建不需要 Clang；需要 Python 3.10+ 和固定依赖。输入仍仅支持用户自行提供的官方 Nikon Z8 C 3.11，不支持把旧修改包作为输入。公开附件不含原厂／修改后的完整固件或照片。

验证包括三个 04.04.p0 功能包的独立整包校验与 QEMU 原生菜单启动、源码／预编译一致性、组合包实际机器码执行及生成 NEF 文件检查。HN8 既有实拍的 159 个 HE★ NEF 全部完整 Adobe 解码；这些是 HN8 参照的实拍证据。公开版的具体身份、04.11 → 04.04 的版本字节审计、模型中断记录及覆盖边界见验证记录。QEMU 不证明刷写和完整上电链，也不是相机安全保证；安装或使用可能导致丢图、卡损坏或相机损坏，请勿用于不可重拍的重要工作。

Based on the hardware-tested HN8 implementation, this prerelease adds HE★, direct camera-menu control without CFG files, corrected C15/C30 quality indicators, and submission-time dual-card routing. ProRes quality options and their patch recipe are unchanged. The public patch uses its own identifiers and disables diagnostic footers. 04.04.p0 is the example output identity, not a fixed default; choose an explicit version above the installed camera firmware as described in the README.

Avoid nearly full cards. The remaining-shot display and space reservation still budget for stock HSFC JPEGs, not the added NEFs. Failed writes, missing or incomplete files are possible; this case has not been validated or fixed. Keep ample free space on every destination card.

Download the toolkit ZIP, which includes corresponding source, license and the reviewed precompiled patch. Automatic GitHub source archives do not include patch bytes. Default builds need Python 3.10+ and the pinned dependency, but no Clang. Only user-supplied official Z8 C 3.11 is accepted. No complete firmware or photos are distributed.

All three 04.04 feature selections passed independent package checks and bounded QEMU startup/menu checks. The combined output also passed native-code and generated-file checks. Earlier hardware evidence belongs to the identified HN8 reference; the follow-up above records the public-package camera files. Emulation does not establish physical update/boot safety. Experimental use can cause data loss or camera damage. See the linked validation report for the exact scope and retained failed model attempt.

v0.1.0 — Prebuilt patch toolkit / 预编译补丁工具包

默认预编译补丁的首个完整工具包。预拍摄 ARM64 代码及 ProRes 功能配方保持不变，更新的是分发方式、构建选择和独立验证。

请下载 NikonFirmwarePatch-v0.1.0-toolkit.zip，不要把 GitHub 自动生成的 Source code 归档当作完整工具包。 解压后按 README 安装 Python 依赖。完整工具包默认不需要 Clang；用户仍须自行提供官方 Nikon Z8 C 3.11 固件。

• 预拍摄默认加载已审阅的 30,301 字节机器码，应用前核对固定哈希；缺失或损坏立即停止，不自动下载或回退编译。
• 可用 --code-source source --compiler clang 显式编译源码，结果仍须匹配审阅配方。
• 保留 ProRes、预拍摄、两者组合及交互选择，保留自定义版本号和 tag。未指定功能时仍默认为 ProRes。

三种功能组合 × 两组版本／tag 的源码与预编译完整产物逐字节相同。既有 ProRes、功能／配置回归与新增篡改负控通过；Release 解压后在无 Clang 搜索路径的环境中完成交互组合构建，重复打包字节一致。完整构建实测平台为 macOS；尚未独立实测 Windows／Linux 完整构建。既有原指令执行、文件解码和相机观察作为实现证据保留，本次没有新增相机安装或硬件认证。

First complete toolkit with reviewed precompiled capture code by default. Download NikonFirmwarePatch-v0.1.0-toolkit.zip; GitHub's automatic source archives do not include the prebuilt module. Install the Python dependencies and supply your own official Nikon Z8 C 3.11 input. No complete firmware or original photos are distributed.

Explicit source builds remain available with --code-source source --compiler clang. Feature selection, interactive selection, custom version and tag remain supported. Missing or incorrect prebuilt code aborts without a fallback. The independent verifier enforces the official input hash, requested options, reviewed patch bytes, valid integrity fields and preservation outside the allowed edits.

All six tested feature/version combinations produce byte-identical complete firmware in prebuilt and source modes. Regression and rejection checks passed; the extracted toolkit also builds with no compiler in PATH. Full builds were exercised on macOS, not independently on Windows/Linux. Existing machine-code, decoding and camera evidence is retained; this distribution update is not a new hardware certification.

The toolkit includes corresponding source, build/verification scripts and GPL-3.0-only licensing materials. Nikon firmware is not relicensed. Experimental firmware; installation and use may cause data loss or permanent camera damage. No warranty is provided to the extent allowed by law. Read the included documentation before deciding whether to install any locally generated firmware.

Issue #3 follow-up / 故障反馈后续（2026-10-20）

测试者已补充反馈并关闭 issue #3：报告 10 台 Z8 测试未出现黑屏、死机或无法开机，此前黑屏个例未能复现；RAW 预拍摄失效被其确认为操作不当，并非已确认的固件缺陷。我已据此撤下专项暂停刷写提示。原故障报告和我的实机测试、文件比对及 QEMU 调查保留在验证记录中，常规实验固件风险说明继续适用。本次仅更新说明，tag 和工具包附件保持不变。

The reporter updated and closed issue #3 after reporting tests on 10 Z8 cameras without black screens, freezes or failure to boot. They said the earlier black-screen incident had not been reproduced and attributed the RAW pre-capture problem to an operating mistake rather than a confirmed firmware defect. I have removed the incident-specific pause-installation notice. The original report and my camera test, file comparison and QEMU investigation remain in the validation record. The usual experimental-firmware risk statement still applies. This is a documentation update; the tag and toolkit attachments are unchanged.
