Personal build off recorderx-xnick (11a2830).

Installs alongside the official app as package com.zygisk_enc.RecorderX.xnick.

Capture fixes

  • Fix blank recordings caused by a stale MediaProjection callback tearing down each new session
  • Drop PUBLIC/PRESENTATION virtual display flags that made the system treat the capture display as a real secondary screen
  • Scale bitrate to resolution so native captures stay sharp through app switches
  • Release leaked virtual displays, audio records and projections on every exit path

Floating bubble

  • Persists between recordings, with a combined record/stop toggle
  • Gear button returns to the app; layout button switches the menu between vertical and horizontal
  • Drag onto the dismiss target to hide it; reopening the app brings it back
  • Repositions itself on rotation

Brush

  • Red exit minimises and keeps your strokes; only clear erases them

Signed with a dedicated release key (v3 scheme, minSdk 29).
