Personal build off recorderx-xnick (f38aee3).

Installs alongside the official app as package com.zygisk_enc.RecorderX.xnick.

New since 3.0.1

  • AV1 no longer falls back to the libaom software encoder. Selecting a codec with no hardware encoder now drops to one the device can actually encode, with a toast saying so, instead of crawling along at a fraction of the requested frame rate and stuttering the whole device
  • The timer no longer clips in the vertical bubble menu
  • The expanded bubble menu can be dragged, including from on top of its buttons; tapping away still closes it

Carried over from earlier builds

  • Fix blank recordings caused by a stale MediaProjection callback tearing down each new session
  • Drop PUBLIC/PRESENTATION virtual display flags that made the system treat the capture display as a real secondary screen
  • Scale bitrate to resolution so native captures stay sharp through app switches
  • Persistent floating bubble with a combined record/stop toggle, gear, layout switch and drag-to-dismiss
  • Brush red exit minimises and keeps your strokes; only clear erases them
