RecorderX 3.0.3 (xnick build)
Personal build off Recorderx-xnick (1e77bb0).
Installs alongside the official app as package com.zygisk_enc.RecorderX.xnick.
Capture
- Capture at the encoder's real alignment instead of assuming 16. The old rounding forced a 0.99 rescale of the native screen size that aliased into visible scanlines in every recording
- Composite the mirror through a GL pass so the framing is ours. In Auto, a landscape screen now turns to fill the frame instead of being squeezed into a fifth of it, and no longer flips to a letterbox mid-recording
- Follow rotations by resizing the mirror, rather than leaving the frame frozen at whatever shape it had when recording started
- Reject software video encoders, so choosing AV1 on a device with no hardware AV1 encoder no longer falls back to libaom and stalls the capture
Floating controls
- The expanded menu can be dragged, including from on top of its buttons
- The menu stays along the phone's long edge, flipping with the device
- Fit the menu by closing its gaps rather than shrinking the buttons, and keep the strip the same thickness in both layouts
- Drag the bubble to the bottom of the screen to dismiss it, in either orientation
- Screenshot is available without a recording running
- New switch to remove the settings button from the bubble
- Softer bubble, no border, dimmer glyphs
Notifications
- The idle notification that keeps the bubble alive now sits on a minimum importance channel and is hidden from the lock screen
Icon
- Black with a red dot, dropping the white ring
